Our waitress was at another table talking about how anti- Hispanic she was, but the funny thing is, is that her whole section was a bunch of Hispanic people! Her bills are being paid by the people she hates most! But I guess I would be angry at the world, if I was a 50/60yrs old waitress working for tips to pay my bills. Maybe she should think about her comments and realize she should be grateful for these "Hispanics" that are her paying bills!!
Came for dinner. Was taken to booth in bar. When I sat down I discovered my hand was covered in something sticky. I got up and looked at the seat. The floor had something like pop spilled on it and it splashed upon the booth seat. The wait staff ignored this. A bus person wiped up the floor with a towel, but the spill was all the way to the floor under our table. He left but did not return, even though there was still some pop on floor. We asked to be seated elsewhere and we were told that we would have to go back to the host and wait in line to get a new table. We decided it wasn't worth the effort. We should have left then and there, but we foolishly decided to give the kitchen a chance. Another waitress later acknowledged that someone spilled a drink. (Nobody decided to do anything about it until there was a compliant?) Food was disappointing chicken so heavily breaded it was more like fried breading than chicken. When waitress picked up dishes she told my wife to hand her the plate. No 'excuse me please', or 'pardon my reach'. When my wife said no because the dish was filled with a number of very spillable things the waitress gave a very rude 'What?' and it went further downhill after that. She slammed our check on the table. BTW when I went to the washroom to clean my hands of the spilled pop a group of employees were gathered in front of the entry to the washroom. When I left they were still blocking it and I had to walk around to the other side to the other entry to get to my table. Not once did I hear an apology for our inconveniences. We will tell our friends, family and anyone else to avoid this Cheddar's and all others in this chain.
We almost didn't go in, we didn't think it was a dine in. This was the best surprise it would have been a shame to have missed it...a MUST!
Michelle waitress was very rude. She talked to another table avoiding us early in the morning when place wasn't busy for about 15 minutes. When I finally called her to the table, she became rude and refused to serve us storming off. I called Peter the owner and he did not seem to be concerned even hung up on me when our conversation was not done. I called back immediately and they said he was gone which was a lie. The neighboring restaurant stated that people complain about Michelle and their staff all the time. Not people I want to do business with!
Great skillets. I love the small town atmosphere.staff is very friendly.would give 5 stars, but the food is not consistent.one cook would get 5 stars, the other only 2.But don't pass this one up. If you get the good cook, it is a real treat.
though I like the food ok, it has been my experience to have every take out order made wrong. If I ask for no onions, it is loaded with onions. Sometimes the food is thrown together fast and half cooked. I've had white potatoes with my skillet many times. gross. If the cook were paying $9 for breakfast, he would probably take some time to cook it right.the lady at the counter made a very racist remark to me about the cooks. I felt it was in very bad taste and never returned. What a shame. The food is ok. The owner runs around all nervously asking everyone if everything is ok, telling them the food will be out shortly. Maybe he should get back there on the line and make sure the orders are correct. No onions in a skillet that requested no onions would be a refreshing change.
Great food and friendly service.
Great place all the way around! Super friendly family run business. Food is great prices are reasonable. Buffet is awesome, always packed on weekends and holidays. I have been many times for events and have never been disappointed. Its a must try!!
went for the first time and was not disappointed!
the food was nasty and undercooked and they didn't even remove it from the bill not to mention the $4.50 Apple cider which tasted old and sour
