Established in 1891, Kennett Middle School is a learning center that provides educational opportunities to students in grades six through eight. Its academic programs include instruction in language arts, reading, math, social studies and science. The middle school also offers classes in computer applications, Spanish, health and physical education, music, communication arts, and family and consumer science. Kennett Middle School provides counseling and speech therapy services. Additionally, the middle school provides lunch to its students. Kennett Middle School features a media center that offers a collection of books, magazines and electronic resources. Located in Kennett, Mo., it is a part of Kennett School District 39, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
