this masjid board members are hiding what happen. It doesn't change the fact that kids safety is jeopardize and it doesn't change the fact that the board members disrespected a muslim lady and kicked her out of the masjid when she brought the matter to their attention and it doesn't change the fact that the staffs are untrained around kids. The truth never stays hidden. Allah knows best.
I had high hopes for my son to learn at the local Masjid in Stockton. Unfortunately, due to the recent incident where my son was harmed without any notice to us (the parents) has disappointed me. My 8 year old son is now traumatized as result of being a young victim of possible hate crime. His wounds may heal, but the memories of this will stay with us. As a parent, a mother, many may understand that having a child involved in any situation that can cause harm is our biggest fear. I feel that this small community Masjid that I once thought would unite us, has failed us. They have yet to apologize to my son and family for such a unprofessional, in-compassionate way of handling the situation of violent bullying without any medical attention. I haven’t found justice for this yet, but I know that karma is real and will inshallah come back to them. They might be teaching the lessons of life but the application is not there. They have forever destroyed their reputation with us. I share this experience to help avoid this trauma to others, as I believe in no harm especially to young ones.
