Divorce: We handle both contested and uncontested divorces. Before taking any action, we will take the time to learn key information about your marriage, including details regarding length or marriage, children, income, investments and property.
Child Support
Child support: According to Alaska Civil Rule 90.3, the amount of child support payments is determined by a number of factors, including both parties’ adjusted gross income, time spent with children and shared custody situations. The amount of child support differs between shared and sole custody. This is a complicated legal area. We know how to sift through complicated documents and paperwork in order to ensure your payment levels are fair and accurate.
Child Custody and Visitation
Child custody and visitation: There are nine issues the court takes into consideration when determining child custody. We will effectively argue before the court that you can fulfill these factors and are best suited to care for your child.

The petitioner may also desire to be the guardian of the person they are concerned about, or the petitioner may want to hire a professional guardian to take care of the person.

A personal injury occurs when an individual has suffered some form of injury, either physical or psychological, as the result of the fault of another individual or enterprise. That individual then has the right to recover money damages to compensate for the harm they or their family member may have suffered due to the negligence or intentional act of another. Will was raised in a rural, agricultural portion of Texas, and went on to study Agriculture and Business at Stephen F. Austin State University, earning a bachelors degree in Agribusiness, with Honors, in 1998. After working for an international automotive manufacturer and another national automotive corporation, Will turned his attention and dedication to the law. Will attended Southern Methodist University’s Deadman School of Law, earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence, again with Honors in 2003. During his time at SMU, Will was a member and articles editor for the SMU Law Review. He also worked as a teaching assistant and tutor for legal writing and contracts, as well as successfully engaging in their advocacy program.During his time in law school, Will was fortunate to work for one of the areas more recognized and successful personal injury lawyers, focusing in wrongful death and medical malpractice cases. By graduation, Will had already joined the firm of Hartline, Dacus Barger, Dryer & Kern, LLP, in their Dallas office, with a practice focused in personal injury and commercial litigation. Will made the simple mistake, however, of visiting Alaska after the Texas Bar Exam in 2003 and fell in love with the State.
