They were slow to respond, and do not return any calls regarding the work being performed. We are 20 days out now and we have no A/C in the middle of the summer. If They would simply answer a call or return their messages I would be fine, I understand things may take time, however they simply do not respond to anything even after taking my deposit. At this stage I cant even try to get another contractor without losing the deposit. Steer clear.

If I could give this company no stars, I would. Stay far away from them!! D&D was assigned by my home warranty company to fix our air conditioner. They did call me promptly to make an appointment to come diagnose it and the lady was nice on the phone. The technician was polite but was really fast so I have no idea if he found the right problem. Anyway, that's where the nice part ends. They took a week to give the diagnosis to my warranty company so they could decide what to do. Even though they had max 48 hours to get the warranty co the information. Then warranty co gave D&D approval to do the work. A week went by and they never called me to make an appointment to come do the repairs. I'm calling them every day. My warranty co is calling them every day. Of the 13 times I called them, the phone was only answered once. They never returned any of my messages. They never called me on their own. It's now been 2 1/2 weeks since they came to do the initial diagnosis. I honestly don't know how they manage to stay in business.

D and D Mechanical is associated with HMS Warranty (which should be a warning in and of itself). They came to look at our furnace. They poked around, didn't really look and told us that it that they would recommend a replacement and the warranty company would cover. We were without a furnace for 2 weeks. No follow up calls, nothing. Finally we went to Superior Water and got a new furnace - go look at them instead of D and D. D and D Mechanical works with the warranty company and not the homeowner. They will say whatever they can so the warranty company doesn't have to pay since it's the warranty company pays them. By the way, mysteriously we had no hot water after D and D Mechanical came out ... figured out they had done something to our water heater controls. Thank goodness we took care of that on our own. Buyer Beware!
