After a somewhat disappointing previous visit, lo and behold, we decided to give this place another try and what a difference! Although the prices still seem a little high, given the prominent location, it is understandable. But this time everything we ordered was top notch fresh, tasty and worth the splurge! Yum! The salesclerk was also very friendly, helpful, and efficient. If you're looking for a great after dinner place to grab a sweet treat, I highly recommend coming here! We will definitely be back again soon. Oh, and don't forget the great coffee! Enjoy!
Absolutely the worst by a wide margin. Catered our building's Christmas party, and it was beyond awful. Freezer burnt poorly cooked chicken, burnt to a crisp on one side and slimy on the other, green beans from a can way over salted (grey and lifeless), stuffing was sub stovetop garbage, deserts clearly from a warehouse club., seriously if it could be any worse I don't know how, oh yeah they ran out of food 30+ minutes early and not everyone ate. Staff was surly and discourteous, clearly out of their league in a professional environment. I wouldn't use these fools for anything, especially something people plan on eating. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Best BBQ on this side of town. Brisket is excellent, the In-house made sausage is very good, the chicken is great. After 4 you can get an unreal good CFS (made with Ribeye Steak). Regular side orders & very good deserts. Friendly staff & real country music on Friday & Saturday evenings make this place a great Friday/Saturday night stop. Be sure to say hello to Mr Hermann or Mr Tony if they're around.
My cake was beautiful, however it was a bit salty. We ended up throwing most of it away.
I was referred to this company and the owners customer skills are very poor. She was paid a deposit and kept it and I still didn't get the cake, this caused a huge inconvenience to my family.
ry disappointed about our recent visit. We decided to come here because they have fresh rolls but by the time the lady came by to give us some,we already finished our food. We asked for the rolls several times but got ignored. She finally showed up with an attitude. The manager explained cuz she got a particular map to follow. Well, what makes us different from a machine is because we can work around to fit the situation. Why she tried to walk around and offer other tables when she knew we kept asking for some rolls so many times? About the food, the meat is tough, the sausage is too salty, the chicken is dry, the sides have no taste... There is Rudy's on the other side of the street, their food is a lot better. This is Texas, we have many other good barbecue restaurants, why waste your money for this type of food/ service?
Ice cream sandwiches made with chocolate chip cookies. What can beat that?
This is the perfect example as to how not to run a business, these people have no clue as to what supply and demand stand for, any time of the day you can walk in and find them out of "bolillos", by far the best seller in any bakery, yet the always have all the other bake goods no one really buys,
Worst experience I have ever had with any business. I ordered and paid for a $300, three-tiered cake to be delivered for my birthday party. It never arrived; no phone call, no apology. I went in for a refund and was told to come back. The owner never apologized.
We just love the food eat hear at least 3 to 4 times a month. They have a non-smoking policy. Perfect!
