Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

It is very sad that the General Manager of this branch has no customer service yesterday I went to pick up a meal that I ordered for dinner with the employees of the company for which I work when I arrive at the store I lacked a tray of fettuccine alfredo with chicken did not put me forks, spoons dishes which when I placed the order calls them to the restaurant and the GM did not want to attend the call told me the person who answered me that the GM was very busy and that he could not take care of me, that he called me the next day and this until this moment has not happened bother me a lot because, my situation was not important to take my call, we bought him food for 26 people but we will not consume anything to them again I do not recommend this restaurant .

My family and I generally love to dine in at Olive Garden. We thought this time would be no different. We were wrong. The front desk staff did not smile, nor did they welcome us into the restaurant. The young girls up front seemed more interested in gossiping than helping the customers that waited The hostess saw us to our seats, but didn't utter a word other than our names and number in our party. I come from a high level of customer service background and this restaurant lacked that. I also heard another person dining nearby with complaints. The staff needs a refresher in customer service. We will not be returning to the Katy Olive Garden.

Employees can't be trusted.

The food is great as always...but what made my evening was a Great Manager named DAN...hats off to you Sir and thank you ever so much for finding my order! J Gibson

The food at this restaurant is really good! But if me and my family want to have dinner at 7, then we have to show up at 6....and that's not fun. The food is also pricey. And the waiters are either extremely nice and peppy, or they're rude and they treat me and my family like dirt!

On Saturday, March 13, 2013, we had the worst experience ever at the Olive Garden here in Katy, Texas. We planned a birthday party for 10 people. My wife and I arrived at 5:45 pm to arrange to have a table for all of us. We were given a pager and told we would have a 30 minute wait. We were called after 30 minutes only to find out they made an error and had a table for 4. We were told there would be another "short wait". An hour after that we still had no table. We asked for the Manager (Willie) who was of NO HELP or comfort. After repeated walks to the inside to see what was going on we received no apology and to comfort for the constant delays. after an hour and 45 minutes we still had no table. A REAL MANAGER would have offered something...bread sticks, a glass of wine, SOMETHING...even an apology. Nothing from this HORRIBLE manager. We finally got our cake back and headed for Russo's New York Pizza where we were IMMEDIATELY seated and had a wonderful dinner and party. In over 20 years of going to Olive Garden we have never had service like this. The icing on the cake was when people that came after us were leaving the restaurant after having been seated and eaten their meal. HORRIBLE SERVICE from a HORRIBLE MANAGER.

Typical great Olive Garden menu. Wait times continue to be very long. Despite that, this particular Olive Garden does not allow "call ahead seating" or reservations like other Olive Gardens in the Houston area. I'm just about through trying so hard to like this place.

5 Stars for opening one in Katy and allowing those of us here access to Olive Garden! The staff and restaurant is new, so the entire staff is new as well.......each person I am sure is learning their jobs and adjusting to their new responsibilities as well as the high volume of traffic they seem to get daily. I am anxious to watch this establishment grow as well as the polite young men and women who work there servings those of us who elect to dine out. Always a pleasure to dine out and appreciate someone serving you! I had a great experience and the staff was friendly.....the key to dining out is patience & appreciation for good service. Both of which I had and enjoyed and the food was great! Until next time!

Stay away, when we got there we were told that there was a wait of 1.5 hours and there were a lot of people waiting, that would have been fine except that there where open tables inside, they just could not seem to get themselves organized. When we were seated there was great confussion with our drinks order and that took a good half hour to resolve. My 5 year old was totally forgotten, when we were seated they said they would bring him a kids menu and a booster seat, well I had to remind them and eventually got up and got my own booster seat. When the drinks did come his was completely forgotten (an apple juice, how hard can it be?) Our waiter finally brought the salad and when we asked him for parmasan with it he say yes sure and turned around and started taking down the next tables order while we had to wait. Our food arrived at different times so half of us had to sit with our food in front of us and wait for everyone else to get their food. I also had to keep clearing the table to make space and asking them to take a stack of plates away. The food was ok, nothing great, the pasta was greasy and the vegetables were burnt. I understand it is a new site and maybe they will get better over time, but I wouldn't be going there in future
