Red Tag Mattress and Furniture Clearance

I previously purchase furniture from this store with no issues in the past. However, my most recent visit to finance furniture was the worst experience EVER! We went into the store to inquire about a new bed, the representative (Beverly) they have at this location attempt to rip us off. Long story short, we left the store and was advise that they will update us on status of application submitted under my husband's name. A few hours later we decided we didn't want the bed. She called us, and the application was approved. We advised her we changed our mind and no longer wanted the set. She stated it was too late and they furniture was already on the way, when while were in store, she stated they will not be able to deliver until days later. She told me she has submitted a application, we did not agree nor sign and paperwork. Later found out, she actually submitted an application under my name authorize, took money from my account unauthorized, and told finance company that they delivered a bed set. I will never go back to this store. I had purchase 2 sets paid off and this is how they treat customers. Sad, now still resolving this issue and thinking about taking legal action.

We have bought serveral mattresses fro them. Have been very pleased with what we have bought. They don’t try to oversell you - tell them what your needs are and they show you what they have.

I bought living room and family room furniture sets from this store. I needed something quick so, they showed me what items are in in-stock from the choices for next-day delivery. I made the purchase with fair price deal. Next day, after I called the store to make sure delivery is on target for the day - I was told that they are loading up floor models and that is not what I was told or expected for delivery. After few phone calls exchange, Curt - the owner himself called me and apologized for the confusion and assured that my furniture will be brand new and will not be floor model as I was told before i made the purchase. He also assured me that delivery will be made sameday. Furniture arrived at home sameday and everything was taken out of the box for set-up as expected and I felt pretty satisfied with end results. I will take-out 1-star for communication issue that I find b/w customer service staff and I hope they will improve in this area. I will go back to this store for future...

Run from this place. This is one of the worst places I have bought a furniture. They promise a date and they don't deliver when they say they will and will change your deliver date without even telling you. They have no customer service skills as they don't call to update you, you have to be chasing after them. They will tell you that they will call you with an update in a few minutes and days can and you have to call back and get the same story. They put me on hold for long period of time and I had to hang up but didn't even get a call back. I normally don't write bad reviews because there will be mistakes we are all human but the experience was just too bad not to write about it.

Beware: Avoid buying



There cost is low compare to Ashley and i fall under that trap. They sell damaged furniture that is why there cost is low.



We have ordered the bunk bed for my daughter from Katy Red Tag Furniture location. I paid the agreed money including the assembly charges. 2 guys came to deliver and assemble the bed. While assembling i found out one side of bed panel cracked and while assembling they damage the other part of the bed (Drilled at the edge). When i mentioned it they said they will come and replace it. All this damages were present at the time of delivery. I have also mentioned these damages on the delivery receipt. After a week when i called them. They said they don't have pictures. So i sent them pictures. Now they said they will order the parts. it has been a month they are still saying the same thing or connecting phone from one person to another.



My daughter still don't use new bunk bed, We are scared it might fall apart.

I had a fantastic experience at RedTag Katy! I happened to come across a CraigsList ad for an Ashley sectional that I had been looking to purchase for over a year. The cost at Ashley was way over my budjet. So I was on CraigsList looking for something similar but used that I could actually afford. To my complete surprise low and behold the same exact sectional for $700 less than at the homestore! I couldn't believe my eyes! I hopped into my car to make sure it was the same sectional with the same warranty and it was! Sandra & Gracie made sure the sectional was delivered to me that night. Words cannot express how truly happy RedTag has made me with their wonderful prices and top notch customer service! I will be a customer for life!

What a fantastic little gem to find in Katy! I just got home from purchasing a mattress set from Gracie. The price was much less than all the other places I had been looking at. She was super helpful and they are delivering my mattress set now. I will be going back in a month or so with my tax refund to purchase my new Ashley bedroom set they had on special. Beautiful store with lots of furniture and mattresses to choose from. Yay to saving lots of $$$!!! They have a new customer for life!

I am not sure if this store was under a different management at the time of the bad reviews, but I recently ordered several furniture pieces and they were actually delivered early. My sales guy was Donald. He was courteous, thorough, and patient with my decision making. I didn't feel pressured one bit. I can only speak on my experience, which was great. The furniture is solid wood (ask, you have a choice!) as opposed to laminate wood (which is still sturdy but different from solid wood I guess). As far as the furniture holding up, that would be a maker issue not the actual furniture wholesaler. But wood is wood. I will be returning as I was treated like a valued customer even after the sale. Donald always called me during the process and after, as he said he would. He even threw in a free long swing mirror that he overheard me begging my husband for (who said no), and a tempur material like pillow. When I received the mirror & pillow, I was truly shocked. Donald had every opportunity to flake out or switch service etiquette on us after the purchase but did not. As I stated earlier, not sure who management was then but as of my 2014 experience thus far, I am pleased. Please see Donald.

took 2-3 weeks to arrive. We were fine waiting because we saved so much

I came about 3 months ago, and i purchased a mattress and i loved it! still sleeping like a baby. Now that we payed off our mattress we want a bed set to go with our new mattress. so me and my wife decided to go back and see what they can offer. We told our sales rep what was our budget, he automatically gave us not just one, not two but more than five bedroom sets that my wife and i can choose from. I was impressed! wow i thought with my budget there were going to give me some inexpensive crappy bed sets. come to find out there ALL From Ashley Furniture. definitely my wife and i will be going back for our dinning room set. Oh and NO Credit Check gotta love that!

I had great experience and great salesman at Red Tag Furniture in Katy. Kyle took his time with us, but never pressured us into buying like a car salesman would. Me and my wife ordered the catnapper sectional out of the catalog. We were told you will never sit on anything like this the rest of your life. The individually pocketed coils in the cushions act like springs in a mattress. It's a struggle for me to get off my couch it's so comfortable. I am one of those people who needs to see something before buying it. But Kyle told me if I did not like it, we could put our money towards something else. I only put half down to order and paid the other half on delivery. He showed us the retail price and then took $500 off. We saw the same exact set at Macy's for $5,200 and we got it at Red Tag, delivered to our front door with taxes at $2,200 out the door with a 5 year warranty. Will be going back soon for a bed, great experience and great people to work with all around.

I had a wonderful experience. I ordered online. The Salesperson was open with me and told me it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get what I wanted and the customer service department called me the moment it came in. I saved 1000s of dollars and it was delivered to my front door. I love this shopping on the internet thing.

I just got off the phone with Curt. Again, I just want to tell you how much I TRULY appreciate you guys! Even though I didn't get to see my sleeper sofa ahead of time, it looks EXACTLY like I expected it to...EVEN BETTER! Dominic and Pedro were so incredibly professional, going beyond my expectations with their service. I will definitely be recommending you guys to all of my friends and will be using you myself in the future. With so many disappointments in the service industry these days, it's nice to know that there are STILL great people that live up to their word!
