Camping World Katy Texas has been so Awesome taking care of all our needs... Whenever we brought the RV in Matt Clark was alway available to answer any problems we had... Camping world of Katy Texas sucks in the service department!!! They are very good at selling you a unit but servicing it is another story. They don’t return phone calls....give you a BS answer about what is wrong....We purchased from them due to hearing bad things about their neighbors service right next door but they are right up there. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND I WILL REACH AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN TO WARN THEM NOT TO BUY FROM CAMPING WORLD!!!!

I heard that Camping World prefers supporter of President Trump shop somewhere other than Camping World. That is a very poor business model--especially for a location that rates only 2 of 5 stars on Yelp.

Just like all the other many one star reviews I would give zero if I could. I have to agree that it is amazing that this establishment is still in operation. Don't expect online sale prices in the store without paying for their membership. I asked before shopping if online prices were honored and the cashier told me no problem she can honor them only to find out 30 minutes later after shopping that I must spend $27 on a membership to get the sale prices. I pointed out to her that she didn't mention that when I asked her this upon entering the store when I asked if she could honor sale prices to which she replied, "I thought you had a membership". So not only are they a terrible establishment as far as customer service goes but they are apparently psychic as well and very bad at being psychic, too. I highly recommend you shop elsewhere because their retail store and retail employees are both no better than their incredibly lousy service department and their lousy sales department (as reviews prove, I have never used their service department and never would after reading those reviews, I'm mad at myself for driving 25 minutes to go to there AFTER reading reviews). Don't waste your time or money and this place should be boycotted and shut down. Worthless.

Had warranty work done on my RV yesterday. I was impressed with the competency of the tecnichians, the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the building and the facilities. I am highly satisfied with the repair work performed on my coach and have no hesitation in recommending their service to others.

Looked to purchase a new travel trailer and the Sales Rep David Miles wouldn't even work with me to get the financing approved without money down and tried telling me that's how it is in the business. I already owned a travel trailer and didn't have to give a down payment till the deal was all worked out! So, I spoke with Don at A Great Outdoor RV Center. This is the company that will show you how the purchase should go and provide you with the most outstanding Customer Service. It is worth the drive to Canton! Here is the contact information.

have a family member that purchased a new toy hawler, got it home to get things loaded and ready to have fun, friends came by and looked at it and find there was so many things bad wrong with the trailer, leaks , shower was almost in pieces with a large gap where the silicone was not doing its job, wall paper was already falling off the wall, molding inside was almost down on the floor, gaps in several corners and the list goes on, never has been even used, and nothing has been in the trailer yet, this is a cheesy trailer and the person will not even call them back. I would give it back to them and find a real dealer.

Do not use camping world in Katy TX. Horrible beyond words to explain how this business is run. Worst customer service and lack of professionalism we have ever experienced. Wish we had looked at reviews prior to going to this poorly run business.

We brought our RV in for warra...

We brought our RV in for warranty work as it is the only dealership in the area that was on the manufacturer's list of approved sites. We had issues with the hot water heater, a broken drawer and a sticking gauge on the black water tank. While there dropping off the RV, I asked for quotes to replace a bent bumper and to add some sway bars. While the water heater was fixed (and dented up in the process), the drawer was "repaired" by slapping glue on the crack. They found no issue with the gauge, but they did use the toilet and trashed the bathroom. They broke the shower lock and when confronted they insisted they did not do anything wrong and they did us a favor by fixing the drawer. Please see my full review at rvservicereviews dot com.

I cannot begin to tell you the frustrations from Camping World Katy. My unit set for days (12?) before anyone touched it, but no one told us this was going to be the case. When I called about it, they had no record it was even there. I had someone drive 60 miles one way just to point it out to them on the lot...then it sat 7 more days. Now they have it in their service bay (for 13 days) and rarely can I get anyone on the phone...leave messages, nothing. Had a receptionist (very nice) to walk back there to talk...nothing. Beg for a call...nothing. Asked for General Manager Eric...he called promptly. Very nice. He got someone to call me. Things were looking up. Now that's been 3 days...12 messages left. Nothing. These folks are too busy to get my business in the future...but I have to get my unit back first.

LOVED THIS PLACE

I was very skeptical of going here because of these two other, recent, reviews so I decided to call first. I spoke to Leslie and started telling her what I was interested in and asking questions. She was Aah-MAZING!!! She was professional, helpful, friendly, informative and to the point. Absolutley everything that I want when I call a business and need information to help me make my decisions. So, the next step, make an appointment. I went in the next day - she was again completley AWESOME!! Everybody there was friendly, the place was packed with people. It was one of the best experiences of making a large purchase that I've ever had. Thank you Leslie Braunagel - you were incredible!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GOUGING/UNPROFESSIONAL/UNCOOPERATIVE

If we could put a NEGATIVE rating we would. We travel and deal with corporations, business' and professional and family-owned business' alike.

All we can say about this uncooperative, unprofessional establishment is, to say the least a very poor and horrible experience. You drive away going, ""Really""? Did all this just happen to me ??? Like a bad dream.... They nickel & dime you to death, lie about the estimated time to complete a project on my RV trailer, not once, but ALL DAY LONG !

Won't give you a break - but they love to BREAK YOU ! Their Manager is anything BUT. Turning them in to Angie's List as well. Hate to see good ole boys dumped on. They definitely need to reorganize and get some ""Customer Service Classes"" started immediately, before it's too late.

I wouldn't let these people change a brake light or work on my RV. Google them before going in for service. I wish I had.
