Aurea is FABULOUS!

I am a consistent client of this salon--meaning at least one, usually two appointments a month--since maybe... 2-3 months after they first opened, and in all that time I have never, ever, EVER had a single problem dealing with any of the individuals who work at this salon. Everyone is always as happy to see me as I am to see them (from reception, to all the stylists, to my stylist, Dana, and nail tech, Victoria). All. Smiles. Every. Time. In fact, I can't make it to the changing or spa room before 2-3 people have greeted me warmly and offered me a beverage.



One time my color wasn't exactly what I envisioned, and they fixed it. No hassles. No stress. I offered to pay for the fix--if not for their very valuable time, at least for the cost of the color they needed to use to get me a little bit darker--and they Wouldn't Let Me pay a penny. Since I saved $$$ on the fix, I turned around and got a facial. Loved that.



So if you're looking for a warm, welcoming, comfortable--and yet, still luxurous, glamorous and professional salon, imho, Aurea is the best salon in metro Houston, and you couldn't pay me enough to take my business elsewhere

AUREA SALON POOR MANAGMENT

FIrst my sylitst was leaving, then not. Then my hair gets chopped to the point of embarrasment, not even able to wear it down and I was still charged for it and will take months to grow out.Then I get a new stylist . Then you start taking appt.s before my scheduled appt. and leave me out in the dark needing a touch up when I had my appt. scheduled for 3 weeks! No offer to fix my hair, no offer to get me in for my scheduled touch up when it was scheduled 3 weeks in advance and you take others who have scheduled since. I have been there almost a yr now and I am a VIP. Management here has gotten so horrible that you cant do anything right, your stylist are messing up, your scheduling is poor, your customer relations are apalling, and I am not forced to go somwehere else after all of this trauma.
POOR MANAGEMENT IS THE PROBLEM HERE AND ITS SHOWING IN THE STYLIST ATTITUDES AND THEIR PERFORMANCE....SHAME ON YOUR OWNER FOR LETTING THIS HAPPEN

I have been going to Aurea since I moved to Katy - April 2010. I was very happy until 2 weeks ago. My hair color was not what I wanted. I called to see if my stylist could get me in to lighten it up. I called a week ago 3 times and she has yet to return my calls. I went to get it fixed at BH Studio. I have a call into the owner to let her know how unhappy I am.

EXCELLENT

I have been a client at this salon for 2 years, and I have always been very happy with the services they provide. I am extremely hard to please when it comes to my hair, and I have never received a cut I did not like from my stylist. She is very professional, and I have never had to wait more than a few minutes.

I have been using only AVEDA salons for about 4 years. Aurea Salon met or exceeded my expectations in every aspect, even compared to other AVEDA concept salons. The previous review mention only one stylist was working when she visited, but I have never seen only one stylist here. Then again, I have never been in on Sunday. I always make appointments well in advance and never the day of. This might be why I have never had to wait. Also, they have always offered something to drink, and I always receive the scalp treatment.

HORRIBLE.....NOT Aveda standards!

Hello,

i went in today for a bang trim. I would like to start off by sayng that there was only one stylist, so I had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes, which was fine. When I arrived at my appointment time, I was told I had to wait longer, but I did not end up waiting long at all. In addition, I was not even offered any tea, as I am sure your salon offers since you are an AVEDA concept salon.

I am so upset and disappointed by the bang trim that I received. The bangs are too short, are not straight, and one side is about a half inch longer than the other. It is so bad that my husband noticed and said they did a horrible job. When I asked about the comlimentary scalp treatment, I was told there was no time. I said that I would wait, but she insisted she could not do it today, although her only other customer was sitting waiting for her hair color to process.

I am originally from Miami, have been a faithful customer of AVEDA. In addition, my sister managed an AVEDA salon for many years. I am so saddened and upset by the way I was treated, the way I was rushed, and to top it off, the horrible haircut I received. I know this is NOT to AVEDA's standards. I was not even informaed about the teacher discount, even though I told the stylist I was a teacher.

I am shocked and so disappointed. I now have to go to work tomorrow with this terrible crooked haircut. I am saddened by the way I was treated. Never have I been in an AVEDA Concept salon and treated as if I were in Supercuts. I hope your salon does something soon. I am also forwarding this email to AVEDA.
