can't reach anyone but untrained people at one centralized number who don't have correct answers after you wait on hold forever. wasted 3 hours at a branch trying to get a lien release on my car loan after help line told me I could get one with certified funds with a Commerce Bank check. had to go get cash for them. Most ridiculous banking experience I've had.
I've had great experiences at every branch I've been to, except for the Blue Ridge branch. Every time I go there, I can count on a 20 minute wait, even if there are no other customers. Everyone seems to be annoyed that you're there. There are routine problems with the ATM, or they can't get me my money for some reason.The upper management is either ok with this branch behaving horribly, or they are not doing there due diligence.I'm shopping other banks right now, and would not advise anyone in the area to use their services. If you're close to any other branch, then it will probably be a good experience for you.

Their customer service is inconsistent, at best. You can expect the same b.s. red tape you'd get anywhere else. I tried to get them to fix an issue on a joint account I share with my husband, and I couldn't answer the security question (he's had the account since he was a teenager, and I didn't know the answer to the only question on file), so they wouldn't even look at the account. I already knew the issue and wasn't asking for any info I did not already possess. I am sure they just hoped to keep their ill-gotten gains; the fees on the account were an error. Sorry, jerks, but my husband called and got that money back. Nice try, though.
Stay away from this credit union. I have received better customer service from a large national bank. If you are trying to get someone on the phone then forget about it because the phone menu does not have a way to access an actual person. Also they will run a credit check on you just to open a simple savings account. When asked about why the credit check the response was evasive but after some prodding, it was all for sales. They only want people that have great credit so they can sell you a loan with probably worse customer service than the actual branches. Not that I would know since I cannot get someone on the phone. Before you think I am blasting them because I was rejected, I actually have an account with them but I have no way to access it. I would give them less than a star but one is the minimum. Hard time rating them when all I get is a robot. So two thumbs down robot. Stay away from Community America Credit Union
