On the day of my appointment, the receptionist said I had a $40 copay. This was incorrect, my insurance calls for a $20 for a mental health provider. So I cancelled the appointment and called my insurance company, was told the copay should be $20.I called back and spoke to billing. The billing rep was rude and said she did not know what I was talking about, that if I wanted to pay $20 I should have. I explained to her that the receptionist would not take less than $40. Repeat the above argument 3 times. Finally out of frustration I told her to kiss my a$$ and hung up.Then I called again and spoke with the manager who informed me they bill the insurance electronically and it came back $40. I then said this was incorrect because I had confirmed with the insurance company and could she call them She refused and told me they would not be seeing me because I had "cussed out" the billing lady. This office scams people by charging higher copays than they are entitled to. RIPOFF

This office is the most frustrating doctor's office I have ever experienced! When you call, you have to leave a message to get a call back for an appointment (What??) and if you need to talk to someone in the office for paperwork or an insurance question...good luck! Wait time to talk to a receptionist so that you can leave a message for someone can take up to 30 minutes. Who has time to wait for this? When I needed some paperwork completed for my son and his 504 plan at school, it took over a month to get it! I left 4 messages with the nurse and medical records people and NEVER received a return call. I'm just saying...if you can find a different office to work with--you should do it!! Don't even get me started about Dr. Barash and our medication experience with him!
This doctor's office has a rude and hostile work staff, a reflection of the doctors no less. The Office Manager has a horrible temper and the staff are aloof and arrogant. Don't believe the 5 star reviews below. Psychiatrists don't prevent people from getting unemployed or divorced. They rarely save lives on their own (that's an emergency room doctor). Improve lives, perhaps, but if someone said to a psychiatrist (s)he was suicidal, the doctor would immediately refer them to an emergency room.
I have seen Dr. Fadare for the last 3 years. I've never been happy with his office staff. When the Leavenworth office was closed in February, I was not notified. I had scheduled my appointment in January for the beginning of April. Not only did I show up at a closed building, but they billed my insurance company and billed me for a no-show. I called the KC office from the closed building and told them I wouldn't make it down there in time. They claim to have left me a phone message, but I would have thought they would send something in writing about the office closure, or at least continued to call until they actually spoke to me. When I called the office for a renewal and had my pharmacy fax the request, it was written for the wrong medication. Most recently, I have called to schedule and appointment and no one answers the phone. Their message states that if you leave more than one message, it will only delay a call back. This seems like a big "up yours" to me. Instead I tried calling again (during regular office hours). It was late in the day and they still did not answer. I'm pretty sure they weren't on the phone or with patients for a solid 30 minutes. I am just amazed by the complete lack of professionalism and courtesey.
've gone to Dr. Fadare for almost 10 years and only experienced small problems. However, the past few months I have not been able to receive any of my medications due to the incompetence of the secretaries. My pharmacy has been waiting 3 months for a simple dr's authorization, and after 15+ faxes and 5 voicemails, they claim they have never received any contact and surely my pharmacy is making a mistake. After finally admitting they did receive multiple faxes over the past few months, they told me that I am not on the top of their priority list and they will get around to it when they have time! She ended up hanging up on me when I demanded that she actually does her job that I pay hundreds of dollars for and am not receiving the services for! THIS IS THE RUDEST AND MOST INCOMPETENT SECRETARY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DOCTORS OFFICE AGAIN!
Pretty Good! We have been using TriCounty for 3 months now. It can take awhile to get in, but Once you are in, you are seen within 5 minutes by the Doctor. Our Case Manager is also Top Notch! We have other services pending, and being referred and I will update if there is any problem with them. Im not sure what happened with LouisianaGurl, but I can not Imagine a Mental Health center being worse than a Hurricane, that causes you to lose your family and everything you own?
tri county is a very good and helpful organization that will help with any type of needs. I have them to thank that I have been in my own apartment for over 15 years after living in boarding homes for about 10 years thinking I would always live in them.
DO NOT come to this facility whether you are looking for employment or treatment. The staff is more dysfunctional than most of the clients. They are severely understaffed, for obvious reasons, and cannot be trusted. The clients many times go weeks without getting their needed prescriptions filled. The staff, mostly supervisors, have created a very tense and racial atmosphere for staff and clients. If you value yourself and your work ethic is high, do not rely on this place. Your job is always on the line and many are very dishonest here. If you are looking for treatment, go elsewhere.
Shady business model, kind of. No direct phone numbers listed for service providers, no e-mail addresses for anyone. Non-responsive staff. In my opinion very dishonest and unprofessional.
This was the first place after seeing three kansas City Thearapists where I got a CORRECT diagnosis, and placed on the correct medications... They saved my life. Dont be afraid because its a hospital, they do assesments and have great doctors and psychiatrists in all areas of expertise. They are in the trenches everyday and know what they are doing. Highly reccomend to go to the intake get interviewed, and go from there
