I've been going to this location for several years, now, with relatively no problems. It's not all that important to me to be greeted the minute I darken the doorway. I actually loath that practice. It makes it seem like I'm experiencing a hard sell mentality. If I do need help I do it assertively IF/when necessary.
Racial epithet and slurs are used by the staff at this establishment. Derogatory terms for women and foul language is constantly used by the owners. I took my young son with me to get an estimate on work that needed to be done on a vehicle. What a shock to hear the language that was used which caused me to have an uncomfortable conversation with my young child on our way home. Never again. How is this place still in business in this day and age?
Used to love and recommend this place frequently.. Times have changed!1st strike: I had a vehicle I was about to have $500-600 worth of stuff done to it. But they nor the dealership wanted to fix a suspension squeak and they basically told me to go somewhere else. So I traded in that vehicle on a new one and they lost that money. 2nd strike: I had another vehilce in for something and told them I thought I needed new brakes. They called and said $324 for new front brake job. I got to the shop and scheduled that service even though it seemed a bit high. I got home and looked at my reciept they stuck on a $22.50 fee for the pleasure of telling me I needed to give them $324 for brakes. 3rd strike had this vehicle for 5years 60k miles and NEVER had a check engine light. Within 5 miles from driving away from their shop.. Check Engine Light. I called and asked for a Manager to discuss the fee and light and they said tough crap on the fee and completely ignored and didn't say one thing about the check engine light. POOR customer service Wayne. But maybe I should thank him.. I'll pay the 22.50..but now i'll pay 125ish for the brake job somewhere else and they won't get my $324, no future business from me, no future referrals and I'll post this where I can so that eveyone knows the Reputable, Laid back, Honest. Repair shop that this used to be is GONE. Oh and at the end of the call.. He mumbled something about the owner should be handling this and HUNG UP. wow.. I really expected more. Shocked and Appalled. But oh well....
Stay away! Robert pads his invoices with fraudulent line items. When confronted with the fraud, he because aggressive. Adding charges to a bill when it's not needed is illegal.
This is an amazing local body shop that is run by hardworking and kind people. We had mix-up on what work we wanted completed, and they graciously and immediately took full responsibility and reduced the final price accordingly—a level of customer service that I’ve never experienced. The car I left with them for repair was stolen from their lot. This happened at the Raymore location in April, 2018.They left it unlocked with the key in it over the weekend. I know this because when the police found the vehicle a month later, the key was with it and there were no signs of forced entry. Mistakes happen, but the worst part is that they lied, trying to pass off a key I had never seen before as the one to my vehicle. Messages left with Perkins corporate were not returned and they wouldn't respond to my insurance company either.I never got the chance to learn the quality of the auto work they do, but whatever it is, do you really want to do business with a company that is dishonest and won't communicate?
The staff is courteous and really friendly. They are easy to talk to and explain things in a way that I can understand. They have always done a fantastic job and I highly recommend them!!
