Lived in a basement property handled by Celtic for three years. The apartment had so many issues with leaking water that I probably can't address them all: clogged drain in the utility closet that destroyed the hallway carpet, water leaking from the ceiling above the toilet, and then water leaking all over the carpet in the bedrooms. These problems were never rectified fully by maintenance so they continued to reoccur over the last year of our residence. If you're lucky enough to get maintenance to come out, they most likely don't know what's going on or they send a new person every day. Our air was out once in the middle of August and it took them a week to fix it. They never replaced the destroyed carpet over the course of a year either. The staff at the office is even worse. They screwed up the terms of our lease two years in a row and tried to delete the final month which we were signed for. They seemed to have a high overturn in office employees, particularly in management. Don't expect to get to talk to the manager if you have a problem either; the staff will lie and divert you for weeks. One manager was in a meeting for three days in a row until I got very upset with the secretary. In general, not a very good place to rent from. If you had a new apartment with no problems, it might not be an issue, but any older properties will be a mess with Celtic. Don't expect repairs done in a timely or correct manner. Their high levels of rent do not match up with their services.

I have been living here at this apartment complex since February 2002 and I had begun experiencing problems after I moved from a two bedroom apartment into a one bedroom apartment in November 2003 up to the present date 8/23/2010 in which I currently reside. I live on the first floor and my unit has a mice infestation. The management is aware of the situation and they are trying to resolve it as soon as possible. The mice have been spotted in my bedroom and on Saturday afternoon 08/21/2010 I successfully captured one in a glue trap after I heard some noise in my bedroom. I currently have numerous glue traps located in my apartment and I am moving to another unit when my lease expires in March 2011. I will make the best of the problem in the meantime. Things are getting better here at Whispering Oaks Apartments but there is always room for improvement.
I lived in a house we rented from John A. Krugh Realty for nearly 5 years- my husband and I only moved out because we relocated to Austin Tx. I always enjoyed and liked renting from Krugh Realty- but after living in Austin for a year I didn't know just how GREAT they really were! Our new landlords at an apartment complex have awful customer service, constantly claim we owe money on our rent (and we have to dig up bank records, receipts etc to prove we don't.) In the year we have lived here in Austin we have experienced the WORST of renting, and my husband and I often say if we get the chance to move back to Kansas City, our first call will be to Krugh Realty. They were ALWAYS friendly, fair, honest, and organized. In my opinion, best landlord and rental company we have ever had!
I read these reviews in amazement. I have rented from Terry Flood Real Estate a couple of times, so has my sister for a combined total of over 5 years. His lease does require the tenant to have carpets cleaned when they leave. All you have to do is follow and comply with the requirements of the lease and you will receive your full security deposit return as I did. If you don't follow the agreement then you can't blame anyone but yourself. I have to laugh at the person who said their mail came back address unknown. This is a business for heaven's sake and has been in the same location for many years if their mail came back it is beause it was not addressed properly. People are amazing.
Hi. I moved from Texas where I enjoyed A large home. I really felt like I would be disappointed living in an apartment. However I am pleasantly surprised. All maintenance issues are dealt with quickly. Also here at Randall Court there are washer and dryers on every floor. It is easy and these units are affordable. Although the best way to reach a manager is through text or email; it is because they are outside on the property. Rent here and feel at home!
John Krugh realty was s great company to rent from. We rented two properties from them, spanning over 5 years, and they have been a dream to rent from. Eric could not be more professional, courteous and kind. Very responsive to maintenance issues, personal e-mails and phone calls. I highly recommend John Krugh realty to anyone looking for a home in Kansas City!
We absolutely loved Miss Angie. No pressure, down to earth, makes you feel like you've known her for years. She will spend as much time as it takes finding the right home. If she thinks it's the wrong fit, she'll tell you that too. I've used her for 2 years now and hope next year her number is still good again!

JB & T Properties is a great management company, I lived in one there homes for 3 years. And when i called for maintence they came out right away, They were always friendly and when i moved out last year I got my security deposit back and they assisted me with moving my furniture to my new home.
You won't find a better landlord than this. They are a little pickier than most but it's because they take care of their homes. I can't say anything but good things about them.
