I had the best service that I had I along time. Well we were wanting to get something to eat and we had the help of Nikki and Jay and when I say they were the best ever I haven’t had customer service so good in a long time wanted to make sure they were notice for the great customer service.
So I had retired from Chipotle for about a year due to eating it waaaaay too much for a couple of years. This, along with the quality of food and service changing, over time. I recently moved to KCMO and in the past, when I’ve visited the city, I liked a particular location; Sterling Ave. in the past, the food and service were always great! Too bad that was NOT the case, at all today!! I probably wouldn’t have completed a review IF it was just one thing. Unfortunately for them, I have a LIST!!! First, there were multiple things they had nearly run out of; white rice, black beans, steak, veggies, fresh tomato salsa, corn. The young lady taking orders was left alone on the line with NO ONE attempting to assist her, even when she asked; not even the manager (assuming she was the manager). Speaking of, the ‘assumed manager’, she was attempting to straighten up messes but as she’s doing this, she’s SLAMMING things around and mumbling under breath about how nasty they have the line looking. Her exact words, “I don’t know how y’all work like this, this is nasty!” Yes! She said this right in front of me, the customer, as she continues to slam stuff around. The young lady on the line had announced she needed a few things and NO ONE responded to her nor did they bring what she needed. As the line is getting longer she finally starts assisting with the 2nd half of the line to get it moving because again, although there were several people working, no one was helping her. As I’m watching her finish people’s orders, I have to say, watching her fold a burrito was shocking! She had NO CLUE how to fold/roll a burrito. I was SO GLAD I chose a bowl today but felt bad for the family in front of me; they ordered 4. My 9yr old ordered a burrito but he doesn’t care, he rips apart anyway. (There will be a picture below). Finally, ‘the manager’ begins bringing food out to refill. BUT, she did not bring one thing the young lady had requested. At this point, there was no more steak and no more beans. There was someone cutting steak; slow as molasses, so that wasn’t coming anytime soon. Now mind you, I already said they were low on veggies, but there was none being cooked at this time. I requested a side of sour cream & cheese and two sides of chip and guac. She made the two sides of guac but I noticed there were NO CHIPS anywhere!! So I asked and was told, I’m not sure. Let me see if we have some in the back. I then informed them, I don’t want guac if there are no chips. The cashier went to the back and put together one bag of chips and told me that was it. I TOTALLY understood why when I got home and ate them; they were old and stale!!!!! Anyway, at this point, I CAN’T WAIT to get out of this restaurant!! BUT, unfortunately for them, there was ONE MORE issue with this location; the trash piling up at the back door!! It was unreal!! There were boxes and trash bags just thrown to the ground!! In nearly 90 degree weather, trash was just tossed to the ground; DISGUSTING!!! (There will be pics below). When I looked to see how far the trash bin was, I had to laugh, it was at the end of Chipotle’s sidewalk, it’s RIGHT THERE!!! You can’t walk the trash to the bin!!?? As I drive behind the building, so I can take a pic of the trash bin to show how close they are to it, someone comes out of the back door and throws ONE MORE BAG down!! Man! How I wish I caught that on video!! Needless to say, I will again be RETIRING FROM CHIPOTLE!! Today, was the LAST DAY they will ever get my business. I wish they still had the same values and concern for customer service they once had.....it’s really sad!!
I saw an advertisement on the television regarding a Valentine Ice Cream Cake that Dairy Queen was offering for $9.99. I called the store on Armour Road to place an order. The young lady who took my order confirmed the price. I went to pick up the cake at 11:00 a.m. Valentines Day. The person who waited on me said "that will be $16.11." I told her the advertised price and price that I had confirmed was $9.99. She told me that $16.11 was the price. She was less than polite. Since I was expecting company at 1:00 p.m. I went ahead an took the cake. Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Dairy Queen again.

5 pieces of chicken , two sides, 2 biscuits for 6.00 !!! Hard not to like:-) I hadn't had Church's in 30+ years. (My mother loved Church's chicken) I was pleasantly surprised. I tried the one at 3145 E. Gillham . Some of their restaurants use the same oil to fry fish, etc. I don't do that at home:-) so that doesn't work for me. They had a sign stating this fact. Although í didn't taste the fish this time:-) the sign reminded me why i stayed away for 30 years. It seems like They've up'd their game. I would recommend them. Perhaps those of us that prefer fresh oil, every time:-) could pay a little extra to "Have it our way" :-) Blessings...
If I could give this location 0 stars I gladly would. Refer to any Google reviews and make your decision. Worst run KFC ever.
Parking lot/driveway is a horrible design. I had to sit in s parking space for 30 minutes waiting for drive thru traffic because there is only one lane. My ice cream melted before I got it home to my kids.
I reluctantly decided to dine at the Sonic Drive in closest to my home, despite the fact that I have never had even remotely decent service here, I gave it one last try. I have dined here 9 times total now and not once have I ever received either my full order or my correct order. This visit was no different. I am allergic to lime therefore I never order Cherry limeade only sprite w/ cherry flavor added. I received cherry limeade. I ordered a chicken strip dinner, I received extremely hardened and room temperature chicken strips which ultimately weren't even edible. When the carhop delivered my food orders ( ordered for a family of 3) he let me know that they didn't put an onion ring in my order bc " there wasn't any dropped " when I said " if somebody orders something that needs to be fried don't you think there should be some "dropped" ? " he agreed and said he would bring one right out. After waiting 5 minutes on top of the first 15 I had already waited he never returned, I rang the service button to ask about the status, again was told it would be right out. Fast forward 10 minutes and still no onion ring. Its not the single onion ring here that is the issue any longer, its the fact that I was told I would receive the missing item in my order and was told to wait and it never came therefore making all 3 orders of food completely cold by the time I got the food back home. The service at this sonic is the worst I have ever encountered. I worked for sonic for 4 years at a total of 3 locations and none of them would allowed this kind of carelessness, or crappy service. If you are in the KCMO area and are wanting an oreo blast or anything off of the sonic menu for that matter DO. NOT. GO TO THE 8227 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64114 LOCATION!!!
It is always something not working at this restaurant. How do you not have fountain drinks, no I do want a orange juice with my meal! Never any shakes!!! At night at the drive thru, after placing your order, they now want you to stay behind the yellow pole, so their clock will not show the true amount of time it took for them to get your order. Totally ridiculous, only in this neighborhood. Rather you shut down and let some other restaurant come in that trully values customer service.
This store sucks, cold meat, hard buns and biscuits, not chocolate in the hot chocolate, just froth, water luke warm. Drive thru personal externally rude and disrespectful. Will not be returning to this location, and will not recommend it to another person.
