This school appears wonderful on the outside. However, it has a long way to go. My Child attended Crossroad. and was not provided assistance with the foundations. And I as a parent was not provided with enough information to assist my child and make them successful. I had multiple meetings with my child's teacher and followed the assignments that were provided. However, the teacher’s suggestions were all over the place, it was not organized. Then at the end of the year I was advised my child would not be promoted. I asked to have a meeting with the principal & was denied. I had to go to the school myself and request a meeting. As I was providing my suggestions to the principal, She states that this policy will change next year & parents will be updated monthly. This is good for the up coming children but it does nothing for mine. Their rules & policies change as they go and it affects the children. It’s very unfortunate. I was really hoping this would be a good place for my child. I am very disappointed, and overwhelmed as a parent because I only want what is best for my child. And now my child had to suffer.
I teach web design and broadcasting at the Daniel Academy. Having worked at the school for 5 years, I have seen a challenging lifestyle led by many of our students that I have seen nowhere else. I know that these fiery young men and women are blazing a trail for many to follow of the pursuit of bringing the kingdom of God into every sphere of society. Having run a business in Europe for 16 years and having much marketplace experience, I hold a great respect for the way the school is run as a model of integrity in a not for profit endeavor. These men and women lead the charge with passion and excellence. I have seen the way the staff have laid their lives down for the students and served them wholeheartedly. I would highly recommend sending your children pre-K through Grade 12 to this school.
