I wanted to let you know how happy and impressed I was with your moving crew that moved us on Friday. They arrived promptly at 8:30 and started working immediately and never stopped until the trucks were empty at our new residence. All 5 gentleman were polite, friendly and helpful. I could not believe how fast they moved throughout the day. They took great care wrapping our furniture and taking care not to hit the walls. I don’t know many people who are moving, but I did tell my realtor about your business so hopefully you will get some referrals that way.

I requested to move this past Tuesday and wanted to tell you about my experience with your moving company. I feel, as the owner, you would like to know how your company is represented.
In the past, I have had the most awful experiences moving my things (and I move quite a bit!). The movers were either late or damaged my property or lost things and never owned up to any of the faults. The last move (dealing with 4 pieces of furniture) took over 4 hours to move from Lee's Summit to the house where I just moved from by the stadiums. Needless to say, I was dreading trying to find another moving company, as I was not going back to the previous ones.
My family finally convinced me to use Vic's, as I believe they have used your services to move homes and even the Aircraft Electronics Association. I'm not exactly sure if that's all accurate, but I believe it to be.
May I just say...
I have never...ever had a moving experience go so well. James and Darnell (I believe that's how you spell their names...and I'm pretty sure that's what they said their names were) were the most professional, polite movers I have ever had. They made me feel extremely comfortable in letting me know my furniture would be in good hands and were even helpful to carry some things from my car to my apartment. The entire job was done in less than 2 hours and they even set up my bed.
This might be a standard for your moving company. If so, I will use you for every single move I have. The swift and professional care I got through this experience was the best I have ever received in my 6 years of moving. I'm just sad that it took me this long to try you guys!
There are often times so many complaints received and not enough kudos throughout the year. These two have earned every bit of kudos and more. I thank you for having a company that still takes care of the customer.
I know people are quick to let others know when they think they have had bad service and not so quick to let others know when their service has been good. I just want to let you know that your crew did an excellent job and we were very pleased with their work. I will highly recommend your company to others.
They came and looked at my space/moving needs and never called or emailed an estimate. I tried to call several times and left messages and got no answer. Once I was able to reach someone, I gave them my name and they hung up on me. I would not refer their service to anyone!
I had never used a moving company before...so I found the process a little daunting.
I picked Vic's based off of their Angie's List Super Service Awards and the fact that Richard came out and gave me an onsite quote.
The 6 men/2 trucks showed up on time and did a great job. All the furniture was well protected and they stretch wrapped all of my sofas. I was impressed with the way the whole crew worked together (thanks to the crew leader Stan).
The final price came in exactly as quoted. I would not hesitate to refer this company to friends and family. Thanks Vic's for a great move!
These guys scratched and broke pieces of our furniture and didn't say a word about it. We're still discovering damage. They got tired at the end of the day and just started piling furniture here and there. We were not at all happy. The Owner told us how they wrapped all the furniture and how careful they would be. Don't believe it. The head guy was good, but his crew didn't know what they were doing and they dinged our door jambs and walls as they moved us out.

Thank you so much for your service Saturday. Dyamon and Bill were really a joy to work with...even fun to have around! They were both so pleasant and hard-working. They sold my husband on using your services again in the future, and recommending your company to all our friends. Thank you so much for everything. The crew was honest to God wonderful. My husband just died and everyone was just what I needed. Not just what I needed to move me and take care of my belongings but emotionally as well. Marty was absolutely great and I want to request him on my eventual move out of storage. Bill was so nice, and so was Joe. And tell Chris thank you too, I know he was nervous about the state of my house. I couldn't be happier and I want to take out an ad to tell everyone how great Vic's Moving is.

Have used Vic's 2 times prior to this move. They have wrecked furniture, & a floor, with these prior moves, but have always fixed them without a problem. My luck has run out.
They tore 4-5 inch hole in my sofa. Obviously not fixable without being totally obvious. Got a quote of $500 to fix the tear. Requested that I just get a check for the $500 and i will use it towards recovering the sofa. I moved 3 months ago, and got the quote 2 months ago. Haven't heard a word from them. I leave 2-3 messages a week with them. No response. I have even driven down to the offices, and the doors were locked.
I have given them many glowing referrals in the past, and have had friends use them with no problems. But this whole incident has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I will be certain to pass on my negative reviews to anyone who will listen.
My next stop is KCTV 5's call for action. May seem to some to be petty, but they should have the decency to at least call me back and have a discussion. I am happy to have them write a check directly to the reupholsterer, but can't suggest this option if they won't call me back.
