Unfortunately, I had to have Roto-Rooter come to my house for a clogged main line in my garage. When Mark #283 arrived, he was very professional, very knowledgeable of the services that Roto-Rooter has to offer, gave his professional opinion of what was needed, and overall he was a very personable person. When the job was complete, Mark cleaned the work area around the drain and it appears as though there was no issue at all. For an unexpected expense, I was pleased with the work that Mark and Roto-Rooter did!
We were not excited about our situation.. Michael H #3409 and Tom B#760 assured us everything would be correctly done and we wouldn’t
be without water.. They did a great job finding the gas pipe which wasn’t where it had been flagged.. It took such skill to dig out around that gas line down to the sewer line..Everyone did a excellent job.. We were pleased with the end results.. We would not hesitate to ask for them back if another issue occurred..
Our kitchen sink was completely backed up and Dwayne (#3453) came to the rescue! He was very professional and explained everything in plain terms to me which was extremely helpful. After the job was done, he even cleaned my sink that had backed up food stuck to it and let my dog back in the house. He went above and beyond! Would definitely use Roto-Rooter again and will recommend them to friends and family!
Keith Satomi (3519) was dispatched to help get out basement drain unclogged. From the start he was very professional and willing to answer any and all questions we had. He made quick work of the clog and gave us advice to help prevent this from happening again. Upon his departure the only way you knew anyone had been there was the open drain. Great technician and company...thanks again Keith!
Dwayne (3453) was a wonderful help with our clogged plumbing! He was kind, patient, and sweet to the dog. He was able to communicate with us about what the problem was and what the solutions could be. He was wonderful! Still wait for our camera inspection though.
We had a sewer pipe break under our sidewalk! The problem was diagnosed quickly with a camera. We could clearly see the break and the rest of the pipe which was not damaged. It was a big job but thankfully it was fixed quickly. Richard was our customer solution specialist and he explained the work needed without pressuring us. John and Robert dug up the concrete and part of the yard to repair the pipe. The were very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. We are very pleased with the outcome. We would definitely recommend them to others.
I give Roto Rooter a better than most review for reliability and professionalism. We have used them for years and can always count on them to get someone out to help us very quickly. IWe routinely have sewer backup issues every 12-18 months. I called at 8:30pm with sewer backed up in the basement. Someone was here by 9:30pm and had the problem fixed by 10:00pm. Thanks guys!
We initially booked a plumber to come out between 3pm and 7pm yesterday. I left work early and cancelled plans for the afternoon to be home for this service. At 3:30pm, their "water" guy showed up at our home. We DID NOT report flooding, we DID NOT ask for a water guy. He said he would take some pictures of our shower head and build a report for the plumber. Then, he said that the plumber would be here by 7 pm. The water guy suggested that we may need to take down our bathroom walls and replace the tile. This was after just glancing at our bathroom, not even touching anything.
We waited until 7 for the plumber and nobody showed up. We finally called and they said that he was taking longer than expected and we rescheduled for the next day. So much for waiting, we still couldn’t shower. The plumber finally showed up the next day at 6 pm. He had no clue about our problem because the water guy’s report apparently did not show up in their system. The plumber went in our bathroom with his dirty boots and stepped all over our brand new rugs which I found to be disrespectful. He also wiped his hands all over our towels, and his hands were also very dirty. This is very unprofessional!
The plumber said that it would cost $250 for the first hour and he assured the problem would be fixed within that hour, we said okay. He started working on it and fixed the issue within the first 5 minutes. We thought that was not reasonable and asked for a better price. We argued about the price, and finally after about 40 mins (mostly because it was hard to get a hold of his manager), he lowered our price to $100.
A reputable business who values their clients would have done what he did (taking off shower head and showing me how dirty it was) as a complimentary service for making us wait 4 hours yesterday. Btw, he had no idea that the water guy came to make a report. We are unhappy with the service and ripped off.
We had main drain blockage from tree roots on Christmas day. We got things cleaned up and made appt for Tuesday morning. Jason / tech 0131 came out at 10:30 with trainee Brad. These two guys able to clear the drain but ran into trouble pulling the cable back in. Our pipes are very old and the found the real problem were having - pipes cracked & their cable got stuck. Very professionally, Jason told me my options and he already called the camera crew for to find the issue. I was very impressed with Jason's knowledge in the plumbing trade. Thank you, sandy
Phase two of our situation: Adam / Tech 1090 came out and did a full diagnostics on the main drain. His camera got stopped about 65 ft out, we saw the broken pipe & tree root ball. We knew we were living on borrowed time with this old pipes. Adam walked me through the problems and how to fix them. I'm sad this had to happen the coldest part of the season. I know they'll get us back up running again soon. I trust Roto-Rooter to take good care of us. Thanks, sandy
First of all, after checking out a number of plumbers, I selected Roto-Rooter because that is their expertise and their great reputation. My technician is Kevin (1720), he came on Tuesday, on time, and was very friendly, professional and was very thorough in the replace T&P valve process. He explained in detail what he was going to do before he started the job. I would greatly recommend Roto-Rooter! You get what you paid for and I am pleased.
I can't speak for their services because they couldn't even manage to get a technician out to my house.
I called a Thursday evening about getting an odd smell checked out in my cleanout drain in the basement. The dispatcher said they could get someone out the next day (Friday) between 4:00 and 6:00 PM. They called at 5 PM saying they were running late. They called again at 6 PM saying they were still running late. They called again at 8 PM and said that they were not going to send someone out that late "only for a smell" and "nothing actually backing up."
They said they would reschedule me the next day (Saturday) between 12 and 3 PM. I got a call at 1 PM saying that they would be there "within the hour". At 7:30 PM during dinner, I got a call saying they were running late and were sorry for my wait. I told them to cancel my order because they were supposed to be there 4 hours ago and never even called to update me.
The dispatcher apologized and offered me a discount if I rescheduled the next day.
So, silly as I was, said ok and rescheduled for the next day (Sunday).
The dispatcher said because I was put off twice already, she would make me "a priority case" and I would be the first stop on the list. I told them they had to come before 12:00 PM, or I was done. The lady said she would have an appointment between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM and someone would absolutely be there.
Here we are at 5:15 PM and I just got a call saying that they were running late and someone wouldn't be here until TEN O'CLOCK TONIGHT.
I finally cancelled, but I can't get those many hours back that I made sure I was home for them to not show up.
It's a shame I can't rate them lower.
