I do not like the fact the employees post pictures of the children on social media sites, I know a lot of daycares actually most every single one of them do not allow such a thing for safety/security reasons as well as confidentiality. I would Never recomment a place that allows such behavior, It is inappropriate. You are not watching the children when your to busy making "kissy faces" in the camera with just one of your "12" children of the day. Pay attention to the children. Your job is to protect them and watch them, not take pictures for everyone on your facebook to see! I don't even give it a one. -70 to me,

Olivia's House is a well-run preschool/daycare. My daughter enjoyed every minute of her time there and still asks to go back nearly every day. The teachers are energetic and caring towards every student. Children are treated equally and fairly. The director is very involved with the day to day activities of the center and is always aware of any issues that arise within the individual classrooms. The cost is competitive for the Northland and it is money well spent. Children in this school leave with skills that have more than prepared them for entering kindergarten. I would highly recommend Olivia's House to anyone who is lucky enough to secure a spot for their child there.

My daugther started at Olivia's House about a month and a half ago and we have had none of the problems as posted in the previous review. The Director has been great. She has always greeted us by name. The teachers are always so happy to see my daugther. We get very thorough reports on her daily activities. All daycare is expensive. Olivia's is a competitive price for a Northland daycare. Don't let anyone's review determine whether or not you visit a business. Trust word of mouth from people you know personally then at least you know the source of the information.

I use to work at Olivia's House and the owner was wonderful. She died and now there is an awful lady who is the director and she is very unfriendly. Yes the place is clean but when you walk in and see this unfriendly face sitting in the office, it makes you feel uncomfortable. She does not take the time to get to know you, understand anything about you or your child that you pay way to much for them to go there. Also I picked my daughter up in the same diaper and when I got home I changed her and it was filled with wood chips and urine. I dropped her off at 9:30am and picked her up at 4:30pm, they did not call me at all to tell me that she has not had one wet diaper in the last 7 hours. To me I would call the parent or at least keep a note. Would not recommend until new director. June 2008
