Gourmet, and going to stay that way. Since 1976 we've used distinctive ingredients in our savory pizzas, sandwiches, pastas and salads. Sure to please any palate at our original 51st and Main restaurant and 13 locations throughout the metro.
Since we began making gourmet pizza in Kansas City in 1976, we have used the finest ingredients. Our savory pizzas begin with fresh, hand-rolled dough layered with generous portions of lean, succulent meats, tender vegetables, aromatic herbs and are topped with rich dairy mozzarella baked to bubbling perfection.
Today, our distinctive ingredients and commitment to quality ensure that each Minsky's pizza is a mouthwatering masterpiece. In addition to gourmet pizzas, we offer a tasty selection of sandwiches, salads and pastas sure to please any palate. Enjoy.

One of our favorite lunch places. They have the beast lamb sausage in town. It comes on their Mediterranean pizza and as a sandwich. If you like spicy lamb dishes you will probably love either of these dishes. Jean is almost always there and remembers our "usual" with a smile and friendly fast service
I love this restaurant! It is a small location which adds to it's charm. Typically, I will dine at this location during the lunch hour on weekdays. The staff is always warm and welcoming. Jean, a long time employee, is consistently a wonderful server. She is appreciative of the fact that my lunch hour is limited and has my food out hot and ready in plenty of time for enjoyment of the meal.

Minsky's definitely has the best pizza North of the river, but not the best in KC. Minsky's pizza is delicious, however I have never enjoyed dining in either of the two north of the river restaurants. This location is tiny, awkward and uncomfortable. If cigarette smoke is not something you want to experience along with your pizza, chose somewhere else to eat. If delivery is an option for you, Minsky's is a good choice, but plan to wait 45 minutes or more. If it were not for the tasty pizza and toppings, Minsky's would not make it in my book.

The beers always cold and the service great. Add to that the happy hour specials, decent bar food and their willingness to put whatever games you want on your choice of t.v.'s and this place gets my vote! Glad I live within a mile of this place. As an original New Yorker, the pizza isn't close but everything else makes up for it!
