I was travelling from Kansas City to St Louis. This station isn't in the best area, daytime you are fine though. First impression is it's too small and felt dirty.. I did not notice anything specific that it was dirty, just felt that way. Maybe it was the smell what seemed like a wicked combination of the sweet smell of a cake baking and ammonia. It confused my senses. The next thing is when they announce the buses the PA system is horrible or the people have the microphone IN their mouth. I could not understand a word they were saying. The way they load buses is they have an A, B, C & D gates, but they are all within a 20 foot area. Again, very small. Finally the bus was 1.5 hours late and was 2.5 hours late getting to St. Louis. The seats were comfortable, the Wi-Fi sucked, and I sat next to a very nice lady. It's a cheap way to travel though. This bus going to St Louis is part of the route that goes from LA to New York.. There isn't a specific bus that makes this trip, so my guess is that it isn't always on time. I took Amtrak back to Kansas City.

Never had such a worst experience other than GREYHOUND travels. Non of the power sockets are working, they mentioned wifi but no access for it. 10hrs journey seems like 10years journey in a Dann HELL. Phone dead, no services entire journey is disaster. Never gonna travel again in GREYHOUND.

I don't wanna give that one star too, but they deserve one star only for maintains timings.

The women I spoke to took her time helping me get a ticket for my friend to get home, I have used the Greyhound for alot of years and they never did me wrong.. So go Greyhound go. And thank you for all the great service you have given me and my family over the years and I'm talking almost 30years of service.. and I find it a great way to see the country.

We arrived at 0230 on 03 June 2011, this bus station is worse then some 3rd world countries bus stations I've travel to and one of the worse I've been in the U.S. First of all there is zero security with homeless people/derelicts walking around all night brothering customers waiting for their morning bus, sleeping on the benches so everyone else had to sit on the floor, these so call people started disappearing around 6 or 6:30 when the employees started showing up, during the night there was a total of one employee in the building that we could see and he was serving a line of 10 plus people.

The bath rooms were disgusting, Mens restroom had no toilet paper and looked like it hadn't been cleaned all night, the Womens restroom was worse EVERY single toilet was clogged and couldn't be flushed and it appeared to have been last cleaned over Week ago, the entire station was filthy maybe new management should be in order.

The so called resturant had new hours posted stating they would be opened at 5AM however they did not open until 0530, and the staff is very unprofessional, the women behind the cashier was screaming and hollering the entire time, had a very nasty attitude, could not take a proper order, and charged more than the prices on the menu. Also why isn't there a sign stating that only breakfast is served during morning hours, if I've been traveling for 12 hours I might want a hamburger at 0530 since I've been up for 18 plus hours, they had a VERY limited breakfast menu.

The greyhound bus was ok the only problem I had was that it stop several times to let some passengers take a smoke break, I couldn't believe that Greyhound bus would encourage smoking.
