Came in for phone repair last week. There was an issue with one if there technicians whom wasnt qualified for this type of repair. I had to go to his competitor for the repair. For the inconvenience not only did Mike pay repair which was $60 more than Goodcall charges, he also gave me another $20 off my T-mobile bill. He didnt have to do any of this. That was excellent customer service and I highly recommend these guys!
warning! warning! please people stay away from this place and the other 3 locations in north kansas city.They also have more locations all over KC . I do not want you to have a bad experience like me ,I had a nightmare when one of the owners followed me to my car screaming at me.He did not care I had my 10 month old baby with me,he did scared him that bad that I had to called police to help me.My baby did not want to eat after I left the place and took a couple of hours for him to calm down from the stress he had out side of that place.They sold me a 3G cellphone for more than $400.00 dl yes!!!! for $ 400.00,of course they told me it was a 4G and they got mad because I did sue them so they changed my telephone number without my authorization as a revenge.He was threatening me.He said his brother was a lawyer and he was going to destroy my life.I have been getting calls from private number and I am very worried about my baby and myself don know what they can do to us......please stay away from that place.
So I bought a phone from a guy and turned out it was hot. He said he works at this store and they put stolen parts on phones so they work he did give me back my money but he knew the parts where stolen then he told me that's not shady. Decide for your self I guess
The business gets 1 star, only because there are no options to give it ZERO.
The owner of the business greeted me and tried to hit on me, despite him telling me he was married and me telling him I was married also.
When i wanted to speak only about my phone repairs- phone was brought in for another issue (still functional- could call/text/use web/use apps), and during the initial visit- phone was damaged and returned to me in non working order.
When i called the store to explain what happened, I was told to bring it back in. At this visit, i met the "owner" from the above scenario. He was very aggressive, implied that I was only trying to get a free phone/free product. Told me to call God, BBB, whoever I needed to because he was NOT fixing my phone. Told me to put the phone on craigslist. Told me to sue him.
I came into the store with a good attitude (thinking my phone was going to be repaired) so there was no reason for owner to get aggressive with me. He pretty much just flew off the handle for no reason, reading other reviews- i guess this is the norm for him?
Owner told me to leave my phone, and they would call... No call ever received.
Finally called to followup on the phone, and was told it was ready.
Upon picking it up, phone still had not been repaired. I wish I never took my phone here, at least i'd still have a working phone (despite the issue i brought it in for-phone was not charging properly). Now I am out of a phone, and nowhere near the end of my contract. Owner screamed insults at me as I was leaving store, and followed me out and watched me get into the car.
I will never go here again. I encourage you not to as well. I have lived in Kansas City all my life and in some pretty crappy areas, and NEVER have I ever been treated to or spoken to the way I was here at Good Call.

I took my phone here to get it flashed and switced to cricket and have had nothin but problems. First I was there almost 3 hrs the first time trying to get it flashed. Then when it didn't work right I took it back and it was reflashed. Now I still don't get notifications of texts or voicemails. Th flashing software continuously force closes and they sold me a charger that wast even made for a smart phone so it didn't put off enough power so the touch screen won't work while its charging. So I tried to call back to ask the guy about it and he won't answer my phone calls. So I called one of their other locations and was told they would have the guy call me back. Guess what? No call back. So now I'm gonna have to fork out money I don't have to have someone else reflash it prob with diff software cuz I won't go back to good call. Did I mention I also bought my internet from them and paid all my bills there? Cuz as long as I am treated right I am a loyal customer.
I was looking for an Iphone yesterday and had called these guys about getting a Cricket Iphone. At which point they told me how big of a mistake that might have been and they offered me a much better deal.. and I got the phone a lot cheaper than I would have otherwise paid at Cricket.
I will def be back at this store and plan to take my wife and sister in law there tonight to see if they can get hooked up too!
First off, I was lucky to find this place because of their TV add...I looked them up online and read some reviews...and yeah okay...some people you just can't make happy. I have no idea how ANYONE could have had a bad experience here! The staff is AWESOME, funny and professional all at the same time. You walk in and feel like you can hang out there for hours. Seriously. And Gabe is AMAZING at what he does...thanks again! I went in because of a cracked cell phone screen...and my phone works better now then the day I first opened it. 5 stars to Good Call Wireless for sure...if anyone ever needs any kind of repairs for their cell phones...this place is a must go to first for sure!! :D
This place is horrible stay away! They know nothing about phones, took my iphone in to get the battery replaced and they completely screwed up the phone and they still charged me. Had to go buy a new phone after my visit. , walked in with a perfectly functioning phone and walked out with a worthless phone and had to pay them and they didn't give a care. HORRIBLE
This guy has anger management issues and should stock up on Xanax!!!!! Worst customer service and BAD attitude... Maybe it's short man syndrome!!!

After going store to store all over KC, I was ready to rip whatever hair i have left on my head, Then finally I found Good Call and I will be loyal to these guys for good. I bought an LG Marquee and they gave it to me for the deal. Gave me a case and car charger for free. They also do free computer diagnostics and I ended up getting some work done to mine for basically free. THANK YOU! I WILL BE BACK!
I don't know what these other people are talking about but I received great customer service and even though I had to go to the other store to get what I wanted they helped me out and even upgraded me. The guys name was aladin but gabriel I believe was his name helped me at NKC store they were honest and up front with pricing and availability on the phone before I went in there and got to talking and had an upgraded version of my phone at their other store so that's why I went there. Stop Hating and let these guys strive to succeed and gentlemen continue the great job.

I took a friends Epic 4G in for repair to these guys because the ribbon that attaches the screen to the phone came a loose, they said they could repair it and a week later when we picked the phone up the screen was working properly but the phone would not keep reception.
Keep in mind my friend could even receive phone calls though he couldn't see who was calling before their repair. We called the store on N. Armour were the work was done and asked if they could take a look at it because it was working fine sans the screen before taking it in, the person on the phone who claimed to be the owner but clearly wasn't began cursing at us, making all sorts of vile threats. Seeing that we weren't getting anywhere with this person we called the main store and was met with even more of the same from the &amp;amp;quot;owner&amp;amp;quot; and this time racial epithets were used by this person.
It's not like we were demanding another phone replacement or being belligerent because several times in both calls, we tried to be as polite as possible.
Clearly these people do not want to stay in business and a huge part of their claim is that they're a family business!!!!
I will never visit one of their stores again and suggest that everyone stay away as well. I will be informing all my friends, family and anyone else to do the same.
To you Mr. Epic 4G Man, You brought in a phone that had a ripped ribbon, not a loose ribbon. The phone wouldn't turn on at all and you expect us to know if this phone has any other problems? You forget to mention how your Samsung Epic 4G is flashed to Cricket, not for Sprint. We fixed your screen, replaced the ribbon just as you had asked. The phone was put back just as it should and the rest is on you. Like we had discussed over the phone, if you would like me to RE-FLASH your phone, than I would do it. Have a nice day buddy. Stay away from these idiots. I sat in the store waiting and listened to the one who calls himself aladdin tell lie after lie to a different customer. waited for what seemed like forever. went out to sit im my truck and wait and looked up their phones on my girlfriend's iphone and you can get them cheaper from the carriers, walmart, target and just about anywhere else. never did get served so I left. WILL NOT go back
