I got portrait by Whispering Danny, had a blast that guy truely cares about his profession, with an easily approachable attitude he was soooo cool. It came out looking just like my uncle Jay, even made my grandmother almost cry cause it looked just like him. Really positive experience. Im going back next week to get a half sleeve of a snake, flowers from Steven, then I want to have Jessie do a pin up on me cause her work looks so real.

My best friend and I came to Kansas City from PA to see the Garth Brooks concert. We decided to get tattoos and looked up a tattoo place online with great reviews. Exile was amazing! Danny and Stephen were spectacular to deal with! I felt very comfortable and at ease with the tattoos and I LOVE the design(s). I would recommend Exile to anyone in the area!!

The best place in KC to get a tat! Not only are they the most courteous and nice group of people but they are amazing artists. Robbie Lopez has done two pieces for me and a couple for friends of mine. He is a world class tattoo artist and has been featured on the front page of tattoo magazine, not to mention won several awards here and international. He is a great guy and I recommend him to all my friends!

I arrived to locked doors at 4:30pm on a Friday. I'd made an appointment just the day before, so naturally I was a litle confused. I called them from my cell phone, only to hear ""sorry, our piercer is sick today, call back tomorrow"". Okay, that's fine, people get sick. But they didn't have the courtesy to call me with this information. Considering I live 30 minutes away, I would have appreciated the heads up. So...I call on Saturday only to hear ""sorry, our piercer is booked up today with tattoos"". At least they apologized, I guess I should be happy with that right??? Wrong... Needless to say, their customer service leaves something to be desired. I won't be calling on their services again.
I'm 55 years old - got my first tattoo 2 1/2 years ago from Jessie Hopeless. She is NOT hopeless - she's awesome!! She is just a great human being. Intelligent, personable, witty and an incredible artist. The whole shop is great. Danny, Steve and Bob (the fine gentleman assistant!) are all exceptional. I loved every aspect of my first tattoo experience. So much so that I got my second one 6 months ago. I'm still working on ideas for my next one (my wife says after we get new carpet!). I highly recommend Exile Tattoo to anyone looking for an exceptionally clean shop and exceptional artists. (I'd rate it higher than 5 stars, but that's all there is)
By far the cleanest, most professional shop I have ever been in. Danny is an amazing artist and one of the most polite and intelligent people I have met in decades. He is knowledgable, professional and honest. Steve Campbell is a good artist and very friendly and approachable. I haven't gotten work from Jessie yet but I hope to in the future. Her portfolio online is amazing and she seems to be very nice and very competent, not to mention a very good artist.
