The City Union Mission Family Center, operated by City Union Mission, is a facility that offers shelter to children, adults and senior citizens. The center provides accommodations up to two weeks. It also coordinates the New Life Program that lasts up to nine months. In addition, the City Union Mission Family Center hosts the Celebration of Love program. Founded in 1924, City Union Mission is an evangelical Christian ministry that focuses on the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of men, women and children. The ministry provides lodging, food and shelter to poverty stricken and homeless individuals and families. It also offers after-school programs for low-income children.
