I've gone to Bill & Larry's for years. I always get excellent service and the service employees are extremely experienced. It's the only place in the Northland that I recommend. The price is way better than any other mechanic shops around and whenever I needed to take my vehicle in, I always get a follow up call with a price estimate and they explain exactly what needs to be fixed and they give me a breakdown of what the parts will cost and an estimate of the service job depending on what they have to do to me car. Larry and all of his mechanics are extremely hospitable and always provide friendly service. I've not once had a bad experience there and I absolutely cannot state that about any other places. If you're ever in need of maintenance or need something fixed to any of your vehicles. This is the place I recommend to my friends and family and I will keep doing that for numerous reasons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A true Life Saver!!

I was traveling from Nebraska to Branson a couple weekends ago and we stopped in KC to have supper for continuing on our adventure. Once pulling off the interstate, I started hearing a clicking sound. I don't think I even drove a mile before my vehicle started making a ""clicking"" sound.
Upon turning into the McDonalds driveway, the click turned to a CLUNK and we stopped right there!

While on the phone with AAA, a man came up to me and gave me the number to Bill & Larry's and told me to ask for Shane. That he would take care of me.

I had the tow truck driver take my van to the address which was only 4-5 miles up the road. He concurred that it was a good place to take my vehicle.

The next morning, I woke and called until they were open and I could speak with Shane. I spoke to him around 8:40am, telling him that the guys who helped me move my van had informed me that my ""U-joint"" had fallen off, and actually gave me pieces of it. I also explained that we were on vacation and heading to Springfield and on to Branson. He said he should be able to get me back on the road by noon.

I called around 10:30 as we were preparing to check-out of our hotel, and he informed me he was almost done, and we could certainly pick it up by 11:00 or just after. We arrived around 11:20-11:30 and we were back on the road by 11:40-11:45.

My total bill was just under $225.00. A blessing indeed!
These guys were awesome, and I will continue to tell my story of how helpful and great they were.

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!

THIEVES!!! DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!

I took my truck in for the Service Engine Soon light. My truck was running fine, but I wanted to have it checked out. 2 days later I called to check and was told that it needed a sensor replaced and it would be $170. I called them several times and they never returned my calls. 4 days later I was told it was ready. I told them I was on my way there and they said their mechanic was ""test driving it."" When I got there they said it would cost $230 because unspecified 'additional work' was done. NOTHING WAS DONE! the sensor was reset. When I asked for the part that was replaced they said I would have to fish it out of the dumpster. When I questioned why the bill was high they cursed me. And to top it off my truck had been driven over 100 miles on my gas!!! Anybody would be a fool to let them work on their vehicle!! Later I found out that I was not the only victim. They overcharge people all the time!!!!
