This place took a third party check that was wrote on stolen checks of my moms. She lives on the Illinois state line and never goes to KC. It was for over $3,000. Now they are saying she owes them this money. We had to look Barry Road Service up to see what it was. Never been there before. Why would they accept a check from someone that was not in their name. They had to know it was stolen. This place is crooked.
Our family has been doing business here for a long time and they are very nice and very professional. They have helped us out of many, many situation and on a few occasions, have stayed a couple hours after closing time to finish my car. Who can ask for more than that? Also, great customer service from the recent employee promotions! For anyone looking for a reliable and honest place to go, I would highly recommend them. Thanks to all the great people at this location, I can feel safe about my family driving our vehicles.
I went here for a safety inspection. The guy at the front desk was rude. They were dishonest about my car. I just had my wiper blades replaced and they said they were torn and wouldn't pass me until these were fixed. The blades were in excellent condition, but my hands were tied because I had procrastinated on getting this done. My bill was $62.00!!! Do NOT take your car here for an inspection. These guys are dishonest. They will try to scam you for more money.

The front desk and the technicians will work with you. They missed a diagnosis and charged me for both evaluations. I thought that was not right and they readily removed the charge. 5 stars if they had done so without my asking. This summer I brought in a vehicle and when I picked it up, it sounded like there was a marble rolling around in the dash. Only, they hadn't worked in the dash. They spent quite a bit of time trying to solve it when they only had my word that the problem had to have been introduced while in the shop. It turned out to be condensation buildup in a hose. So that was neither my fault nor theirs. But they solved it and made sure I was happy. That was a pretty expensive teaspoon of water cost that they aborbed. The reviewer from earlier this year may want to give them another chance. A good garage relationship is about as important as the one you have with your doctor.
Don't think of ever taking your car here b/c you WILL be highly disappointed! The only thing this place is good for is an inspection, maybe an oil change!?! They weren't honest, they keep your car there all day long, and more than likely it won't be fixed right, so you'll have to take it in yet again for another full day with additional charges.
