People were mostly nice, they were rushing us out and they were not busy. we went there because nurse hot line said our son needed to be checked for pneumonia. They didn't check his ears or give him an xray. Said he had bronchialitis didn't prescribe any medicine. Went to primary doctor couple hours later and with no xray said he had pneumonia and was very mad. Prescribed him necessary medicing. Don't be scared to question wish we had could have been very bad.
I don't understand way everyone is giving this office bad reviews I've been going to this office for physical therapy and was seeing Jason Gearhat and never had one problem with none of the stuff always friendly. If I ever have to do physical therapy again this will be the place I go always felt like I was wanted there no problems.Thank You Jason Gearhat
I was referred to this US Healthworks location for a employment drug screen. First day I showed up the office was closed early (at noon even though closing time isn't until 5 pm). The second day the office was actually open ! After signing in and waiting for a while, I was informed that I still had a thirty minute wait. I asked if they had a public restroom. I was very rudely answered with a " we aren't playing these games" and then told that "it is physically impossible to urinate in thirty minutes after previously using the restroom". I waited, gave my urine sample and signed for it. On my way out I notified staff of what I thought of their customer service before walking out. The response I received was " Have fun not getting your job ". Now after days of my employer waiting for the results, they are told I never dropped a urine sample. So my urine sample has been tampered with and misplaced. More importantly my HIPAA protected paper work has mysteriously disappeared ! I don't feel this establishment deserves even the one star I am forced to give them.
This place is horribly run by the most unprofessional people. It must be where the rejects from nursing assistance classes end up. My boyfriend had to go take a pre-employment drug screening for his job and this place was beyond rude. There was a huge wait so my boyfriend asked to use the bathroom because he couldn't wait that long. The young, snotty girl at the counter (brunette ponytail) said “Oh no, we aren’t playing games here. If you go use the restroom then I will put everyone in the office ahead of you and you will have to go last.” He explained to her that when his turn came he would have to go again, to which she said with a hateful tone, “that is physically impossible. You will not use the restroom.” He told her he wasn’t aware that she knew his own body better than himself and had to sit down and uncomfortably and painfully wait. I guess their code of conduct for their customer service employees is to make statements geared at customers to berate them. This girl was aggressive and hostile in the way she interacted with my boyfriend with no provocation from him whatsoever, just a simple request to use the restroom. Then when we were leaving, he told her she was rude so she shouted through the waiting room "have fun not getting your job!" His employer never got the paperwork for his pre-employment drug screening! She threw away his results and told his employer that he NEVER TOOK IT! Which is a total violation of HIPPA, taking his social security number and personal information for her own use instead of submitting it to his employer. This place is a joke. If you are an employer, use a different company to screen potential employers. If you have to do any kind of medical screening here, brace yourself for a bunch of nonsense.
Everytime we come here it takes over 3 hrs! Very irritated and not please when you have a sick child you do not want to wait that lone!
On 01/13/2014 I went into the Minute Clinic at 4990 NE Vivion Rd. In KCMO. All I heard was the need to stop smoking. They gave me cough pills and inhaler and said if you dont fell better you need to go to the emergency room. I needed antibiotics, not cough pills and they would not give any. Didn't receive any value and care from Minute Clinic but yet they want their money. The next day on 01/14/2014 I felt worse now dealing with this crud for a week (7 days) now. Called Minute Clinic back and was told that I needed to be seen by them again and IF the nurse practitioner thinks antibiotics are useful then they will be given. Of course at the cost of another visit fee, No reduced rate and of course not for free. So I decided to go to the regular doctor where they told me I DIDN'T need what Minute Clinic prescribed and issued an antibiotic to me and of course the rest of the mumbo - jumbo stuff like get rest, plenty of fluids, ect. So lets talk population control if seen by Minuite Clinic that and all the out of pocket expenses of having to go to a real doctor meaning I have a bill for Minute Clinic and a bill for the doctors office for the same thing. MY recommendation is to see Dr. Office or Veterinarian first, before thinking about the money sucking Corporation of Minute Clinic.
If it was possible to give no star rating I would. This office is completely unprofessional, inconsiderate and a complete waste of time. I showed up for an appointment with them on Monday and they were not open! No one was there! My appointment was set for Monday the 28 of October at 8am. I double checked when I got home. If you are ever referred here don't waste your time just ask for another referral.

Do not bother trying to be seen here. We followed our pediatrican here from another office and tried, with no success, to speak to anyone helpful. I began calling in September for an appointment at the end of October and was told the schedule was full. Fine, how about November? I was told until 10/29/12 that the doctor's schedule for November had yet to be released. I called weekly...sometimes every day. I just spoke to a scheduler and thankfully the November calendar has been released, but it is full! This clinic is one of the worst run for staff knowledge, caring or consideration. After checking with several friends and getting names of other pediatricians, I called and got an appointment scheduled for next week...as a new patient. Something is definitely wrong with the management of this office.
