Always they make freshly when you order and all different pastas have been great. Desserts also very good and typical Italian Perfect place for dinning and also perfect for just for wine or coffee.

From Business: http://www.mudpiebakery.com/#! Kansas City's first and only Vegan Bakery & Coffeehouse. A full espresso bar. Great atmosphere in old house in lively neighborhood.…
The sandwiches are great with plenty of meat and condiments. Very nice atmosphere. Just opened and I hope they stay as it is a good location for me.
I had to try it after seeing it on DDD. and was not really impressed although wasnt too bad, I just figured it would be so great cause of the show, probably just thought too much, You will want to try this for sure.
been many yrs but it left a memory. mm good food
Loved the atmosphere here! The Reuben and the grilled cheese were amazing. My husband and I ordered each and fully expected to share but with the German potato salad included as one of the choices for a side we could only get through half a sandwich. Thank God for leftovers as we enjoy the second half today. The staff here was so friendly. I'm so glad this historic building was saved. Love the original flooring. We'll be back M.D.
Bella resturante... simpatico italiano!
I heard about Grinders West, in Kansas City, from The Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," and although it's a cool and casual place to hang out and drink an array of great beers, when it comes to the food, it passes creative ville but falls short of reaching flavor town.If you want to read a more detailed review with pictures, check out http://www.omnivorousvegetarian.com/?p=1285
I usually love this place but you can have a bad expereince here. The food it better than most but not stellar and depending on your server or waitress, the way you're treated can be the best expereince you've ever had or the worst. My recent trip was by far the worst I've ever had thanks to miss red lipstick!! If you hate your job and your life, don't take it out on others. Find a new career path that you can embrace, like stripping. This way you never open your mouth and no one cares if you're serving with a smile.
