I decided to contact Stivers for employment based on their high ratings. I applied for some jobs on their website. One of them was with a mortgage company with a starting pay of $14 per hr. I went to Stivers and was told that I had to have an appointment which was understandable. I made my appointment and came in to fill out an application and did an interview/assessment. I was told by the interviewer that Stivers had not worked with the mortgage company that I applied for in months and was no longer working with them. I know that employment/temp agencies post fake job posting in order to get people to apply to the company. I walked out hoping to get a call if ANY job opening came up that I was qualified for. I was told to call every week to see if they had any openings. Every week I was quickly dismissed. I decided to move on from Stivers since they made it clear that they were going to continue to brush me off and I gained permanent employment elsewhere. SIX MONTHS later I get a "Hey, Big-head" email telling me to call for an interview with the same company that they told me that they no longer worked with.
