The two older ladies were sweet..But the blonde middle aged woman was awful to me..I asked for a price that had two zeros on it, I realized that the tag had been torn..She said very loud and rude to me " Well its not free" I replied back in the same tone.." thats not what I meant" she replied rudely again " you can just take your attitude and LEAVE" I was shocked and by the look on the elderly women they were too..I have been to that thrift store at least 9 times...
Thrift store was a huge savings. All my items were $2 each. It is a small non profit but is doing big things.
My fiancé and I first discovered this thrift store last year walking down troost and of course I could spend all day some where if it meant I was saving money on something this lady has awesome prices doesn't try to get new cost prices for used stuff. She has very nice stuff very much worth while and I feel beautiful with a new wardrobe every time and still have money left in my pocket!!!!!!!
Best place to go I like them
I got lossed its so big. Down stairs packed with high end Cloths . The upstairs is filled with very fair priced furniture. I got 3 bags of cloths for 26$
They have great service & everytime I come I feel & look like a superstar
This church is a very friendly and helpful church. They will help you fron food to rent and deposits. Thank god for people like them.
I love the concept of the shopping at the outlet. It can be fun to be there. The problem that I continuously see when I do go is that there is no real control of the customers who do not follow the rules. Most are Spanish speaking individuals who do understand English , but when they choose not to they do not follow the rules. You have to be prepared to struggle with the customer , and then the associates who are in charge at the time. I had a terrible experience with Oisha when I last went to the store. She shut down a line that had 3 customers in it waiting to check out. She told the customers that they would have to move over to the other line that already had 3 customers In it because it she shut that registers down. It did not matter that they had been waiting. I watched her treat them rudely and then she told a new associate to tell me that when the line was big, I would have to leave my merchandise in the cart. which I had already had in a bag. I have been checking out this way for over a year and never had a problem before. She was very rude to me in front of the big line that she had created. I told her that I would never shop there again because of her rudeness to me and others. She did not seem to mind. It was no lose to her. I do like the store and the fun of shopping there, but the rudeness of the customers and the lead associates is not worth driving just to get upset.Sincerely,Tamera
