Horrendous experience. An oil change on an excellent maintained Toyota RAV ended. Up a disastrous $500 “repair” for leaking rear axle seals. They then told my daughter it was completely safe to drive 5 hrs home when she returned with the ABL lights on and noises. They were waiting for parts for what they determined was caused by a loose wire harness which was ultimately not the case. After being concerned on her drive home she took it to the local Toyota dealership, where it was explained to us that it wasn’t fit/safe for the road. It was supported by pictures and ultimately the parts that were replaced. Loose bearing, bent axles, bent control arms, incorrect bolts in the replacement(what! No duct tape?), no fluid from the leaky seals that were or weren’t replaced. $2300 additional plus days in the shop. Despite being professional in my continued attempts to resolve they have claimed The dealership was ripping me off (A+ rating for the dealership with the Better Business Bureau, fyi. An F for Calvert’s based on 109 complaints, I believe, including no response to my official complaint) and no efforts to rectify the situation since I didn’t give them a chance to Warranty their work. Which we did when my daughter returned with the issue and they can’t grasp that we were told it was unsafe to drive the vehicle until repaired. No apologies for their actions OR for placing my daughter at risk of harm. It’s a twofer with this outfit: awful performance AND the worst attempt at displaying any concern for customer service.

Basically, The only way you will get them to buy from you is if your clothes are brand-new. I have been in there four times now with high-end brand name clothing and accessories in almost mint-condition and they have turned me down. The ladies there are nice but the guy that works there is kind of a douche. They are extremely picky and their prices are high. When they do finally sell to you they give you next to nothing then turn around and hike their prices up. You may as well go to your local name brand outlet and buy what you want there. some of the stuff that they sell there is a knock off and they tell you that it is authentic. I am never going to this place again.

BUYER BEWARE. My wife has always been a huge fan of Clothes Mentor, but a recent purchase has turn us off permanently. A few months my wife saw a post on the Clothes Mentor Tiffany Springs Facebook page. The post was for 2 pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes, a black pair and leopard. She immediately called and had the black ones held. Upon arriving at the store she looked over the shoes and asked if they were real or knock offs. She was informed that they were authentic Christian Louboutins and that the seller had to provide proof of authenticity for Clothes Mentor to buy them. They informed my wife that they DO NOT sell knock offs or fakes. My wife bought them on the spot. Fast forward 2 months and she decides that she wants a different style, so we placed them on eBay to sell them and our post was rejected saying they were fake. We called eBay assuring them that these shoes were the real deal, but they wouldn't budge. Frustrated we decided to investigate further and took them by Neiman Marcus on a recent trip to St Louis and they confirmed the shoes were fakes. We are now left with a pair of junk shoes. Had we known that they were fake that would have been one thing, but being portrayed as real and finding out they are junk is disheartening. I understand that we are talking about a store that sells used apparel, but buying a high end shoe and being sold a fake is wrong, no matter the price or situation.

I visited for the first time August 2014. The store was clean, organized and well-lit. The staff was incredibly helpful, pleasant and informative. They had an impressive selection of designer jeans and brands I regularly shop for. They had a large amount of clothing from Chico's which I personally do not prefer. They also had handbags and shoes in a variety of colors and styles. The prices are a bit high compared to other resale shops, but the location and experience were much better.
