We arrived at the restaurant at approx 7:30pm. My children were pleasantly thrilled with the entrance. The koi pond is a particularly nice touch. The kids even got to feed the fish. However, once we were seated things began to turn south. We were ushered into the back of the restaurant, into a very crowded room. Where every table was packed but one with practically no space between them to even sit down. My family had made do with worse, so we went ahead and sat. Apon heading to the buffet, what was there was almost gone and there wad extensive lines around the buffet. So we're thinking, "Man this place must be really great!" it's so crowded you can harfly move. We sit down to eat, and find the food is only so so. But still we're ok, we've had worse. But then, the check came. And for mediocre food, I expected, for 3 adults and 3 small children, around $40-50. The bill was almost double that. When you go to a restaurant and pay that much, you expect a roomy atmosphere, polite quiet conversation and fantastic food. Joy wok feel seriously sorry of that experience for such a high Bill. We will not be returning.
This is my & my children's favorite chinese retaurant! I should probably give it only 4 stars because the service isn't always great. (Sometimes it is hard to get the waiter's attention for drink refills, etc., and they barely speak english.) But they really hustle and the food is fabulous! Freshest, crispiest (but not hard) sweet & sour chicken. Great egg rolls and crab ragoon. My sons love the Gen Tso's chicken & the Seaseme Chicken. Cashew Chicken and Moo Goo Gui Pan are also great. There is a buffet, but the entrees are only about $8 each and so hot and fresh, we usually order off the menu.
This little place is a wonderful addition to Parkville. Mostly for take out, it does have a few tables in the front for people who would prefer to eat in, This is family run, the husband is in the kitchen and the wife runs the front. The food is good, basic, decently priced. I have purchased food here several times over the past 3 years and have never experienced or witnessed rudeness of any kind. I highly recommend the place for decent take out, and have recommended it to friends and co-workers.
When my husband and I get a hankering for some Chinese food and want it delivered, I always order from China Wok. They have great food at great prices and we always get our food nice and hot! I have never been dissatisfied with what we get here.I highly recommend the food, and to actually have it delivered is a huge plus!!
This is a very good chinese restaurant.. Their food is always good and fresh tasting. Sometimes you go to restaurants and their food sometimes just doesn't taste good, or old. Everytime I've been here they have greeted me by name, they know my favorites and I've always been happy with the food I get.
This is the best Chinese restaurant in the Northland and surrounding area by far! My family and I started eating there when I was in fifth grade and 21 years later I still eat there to this day. The owners are great and they know my order by heart.
This is the best place that I have ever been. It is buffet style Mongolian BBQ. Fun to create food and watch chef cook in front of me. The chicken wings and crab rangoons are amazing! Just love it
We've been going to this place for years. It has great food and great service. We've gone enough that the one waiter even has a lot of our order and drinks requests already knonw.
VERY NICE BUFFET WITH VERY NICE SERVICE. WE WILL GO BACK FOR THE SEAFOOD AND SUSHI , ALSO THE HIBACHI GRILL, REMEMBER TO MAKE A RESERVATION ON WEEKEND NIGHT, THEY ARE ALWAYS BUSY.
This place is great! Food and service is awesome! You get large portions for not a lot of money. Never tried delivery only dine in and never had any problems.
