Alright service but ILLEGALLY over billed. BEWARE OF YOUR CHARGES.This fraudulent bill illegally used CPT modifier 59 to almost double the fees.A legitimate 59 modifier must involve COMPLETELY DIFFERENT health problems (e.g. chest abscess and abdominal gallstones) and a written statement.Sadly, many websites discuss how to over bill patients.Researching this Diagnostic Imaging Centers bill took some time but saved lots of money, so time well $$$ spent. If you can prove you were illegally over billed, report your fraud to the Office of the Inspector General to help teach Diagnostic Imaging Centers that fraud isn't profitable.
DO NOT USE this facility. I scheduled an MRI and they told me all I had was a 25 dollar copay and the rest would be billed to insurance. I got one bill I paid my copay at the time of my visit and insurance was being billed. Insurance did not pay. They sent it to RMS collection who claimed they sent one letter that I never got and they sent it to an attorney who has billed me 600 more dollars. I smell a scam. I'm guessing the attorney is affiliated with the RMS. They won't work with me on the amount and say attorney fees are 600 for filing. Run RUN RUN. You will pay more than a copay.
I would definitely give this place 5 stars but one of the staff members came off as very rude the last 3 times I've been here and I didn't appreciate it at all. Overall this place is very clean and very good about making you feel welcome. Thank you to my sweet nurse Rose for making my 3 hr visit better than it would have been with the other nurse.
These guys are convenient and expedient, once you get into the "back". You'll spend a little too long in the waiting room, but once you get into the testing area, they are nice and friendly. It's really awesome to get your mammogram results while you're there - that's a definite plus. All in all, a good place.
