if AHS assigns you this p.o.s company, call and ask for a different one. They fixed my problem but created a new one which flooded my basement. After calling Shwartz to come back to tell me what the heck happened the kid(Ryan) told me why it was doing that and they needed to come back to fix it(why he even left without addressing that, I have no clue). Got assigned a recall for Shwartz to come back. Then found out they told AHS that they were refusing to come back and it wasn't them that created the new problem when I have a piece of paper wrote out by Ryan that says they absolutely did. 0 stars for this sad excuse of a company.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Technician was over 2 hours late and didn't call to inform me of the delay until he was already over an hour late. Technician offered me no diagnosis for the problem I had with my washing machine. All he offered me was a suggestion that I buy a $375 part from him that, "might fix the problem". However, Ted's personnel in-store wouldn't stand behind his diagnosis and offered me ZERO guarantee that this part would fix my washing machine (I would potentially be out the extra $375 and still not have a working washing machine). Technician said they might have a used part at the store that would work, but even after I visited the store on THREE separate occasions, I never heard back one way or another whether or not they had this part. They seemed to have forgotten (or not cared) about looking into this situation for me.So after paying Ted's $80 and wasting 4 hours of vacation from work (for the appointment that was 2 hours late) I still have ZERO resolution one way or another to my situation. I even provided the error codes from the diagnostic mode of my machine to see if they could pinpoint the problem but was told that they didn't have any record in their manuals of my model number of washing machine ever existing. Even though 10 seconds of Google investigating can prove that to be incorrect. No one at Ted's was willing to put in any amount of effort or follow up to my situation whatsoever.I also think it's worth noting that the technician as well as sales personnel I spoke to in-store seemed VERY interested in offering me trade-in value for my (almost brand new) washing machine. I imagine in an attempt to fix my washer themselves and turn it for a nice profit.Bottom line, Ted's Appliance doesn't appear to care about basic customer service. If you have a broken appliance that needs repair, you better just hope that it's a quick and simple fix. Because if your repair requires ANY amount of critical thinking whatsoever, you're much better off going elsewhere.
I bought a washer and dryer in 2006. They delivered the set and hooked them up. Ten years in I needed a new part for the washer. They came out and fixed it and those appliances are still working to this day! Their customer service is one of the best I have experienced in the area and I highly recommend them. I just bought a house so I will be furnishing my appliances through Major Appliance!
I am currently moving out of my apartment and the condo that I am moving into already has a freezer, a washer dryer, and a microwave. When I called them to pick this stuff up before the holidays I was denied, they said that their not going to buy anything and was told to check back with them after the holidays. I was also quoted a $100.00 for the stack able washer and dryer which are in fair condition the first time, the freezer would have been sold at $45.00. So when I called for a pick up I wasted a whole day waiting for them a whole day which I could has spent riding on the bus doing what was more important at the time. They never showed up said deliveries were top priority then a pick up which if that were the case why not stop on by since I saw one of their trucks roll right past my house with only one appliance in it. There buy backs are a complete joke. I called back today and was told they never buy washer and dryers for a $100.00. Their warranties are good there's not doubt about that just the way they do business when buying back stuff is a complete joke. I'll look else where for today. But for now their getting my rating as disappointed. I wish I could have gave them a very disappointed rating so here's my angry face right now >:-8
While the technicians are competent, the woman booking service is rude & dismissive of clients. I called for service, got her on her "lunch break" ( no voice mail). She answered and said she'd call my cell after her lunch. She did not call until the next day, late afternoon to my home phone. A week later, the tech attempted a fix that did not work. A call back to Schwartz's resulted in a Thursday follow-up. When no tech showed on Thurs, I called again, just to be told I was wrong. The woman claimed she had booked me for the next week and I had not heard her. I was driving at the time and repeated the appt. time so my passenger could write it down, but the nasty secretary repeatedly told me I had made a mistake. Mind you, I was not wanting to argue, but I had a witness that could confirm I was not mistaken. The woman asked if I wanted to keep my next appt and then slammed down the phone when I said yes.. Avoid Schwartz's if you want quality, polite service for the $$$ you'll spend.
If I could give zero stars I would. They didn't even come to my house and still billed me. In buying a new home I got a new home warranty, that included plumbing service. I had a plumbing emergency and the home warranty company called Schwartz, Schwartz was unable to come out in a timely fashion, ie they weren't able to schedule an appointment for less than 5 days out. So I called the home warranty company and had them cancel Schwartz and set up a different company to come fix my problem. Schwartz calls me in the morning, 4 days after my problem is fixed saying they will be out that afternoon. I tell them not to come because the problem is already fixed. They don't come, but still bill me and the home warranty company. They won't answer their phone though, so the home warranty company keeps telling me they will get ahold of them, but not being able to, so for the last 3 weeks I have been trying to get them to cancel a bill for service they didn't do. Rudest customer service as well.
this company is by far the best i have ever done business with. my furnace stopped working in the evening and with in the hour they were at my house fixing it till they could get the part they needed. as soon as they got it they made the appointment to install it and in no time i had heat again. i would definitely keep doing business with this company from now on
Schwartz's is a wonderful company. my furnace was not working and i have a 4 month old baby. they came out right away and fixed my furnace and got my baby and i heat. if it wasn't for then i don't know what i would have done. i would highly recommend using this company.
IF I COULD LEAVE NO STARS I WOULD.So I'm leaving this review to be helpful for anyone looking for help on who to use for service. I asked for their help and had the owner come over to my house to give me a diagnosis. He tells me that it's to old and I need a brand new furnace. He can't fix it and definitely need a new one. I told him and his secretary that I don't have alot of money and can do payments. They agreed in the beginning , then told me they don't do payments but would finance me. Which is the same thing. I mentioned what I thought was wrong with it. It turns out I was right and only cost me 140$ instead of 12-1500$ they quoted me for. I used Google for how to and troubleshooting.I used Amazon to buy the part easley installed the new one in 20 minutes. My furnace works great, so how honest are they really.
Outstanding and bravo!! We lost our heater from yesterday and the rooms get so cold (55 degree). It is a new year's eve day. I called JP. The owner and his two assistants came to my house and spent near five hours to replace my old furnace with a brandnew. Perfect job with outstanding and quality service. You cannot believe it that we still have such as wonderful business man - Jason, who does work as he promised. In fact, all three persons from JP are outstanding. Give them (or Jason) a call when you are in trouble. Happy New Year to all who read this review. Thanks.
