We found the hotel on an internet special which was a good price considering the location. The hotel is clean and had great view of golf course from a high floor and staff was friendly. It is near Kalamazoo downtown and within walking distance to heaps of restaurants and eateries places. We eat breakfast in the morning. Their Make your own belgian waffle is really good.Overall it was a fun stay and it is a great value. The new upgrades to the hotel are making it a very decent hotel to stay. Will come back again.
The room was disgusting, the garbage was full when I got there and my son started pulling other people's garbage out of it plus I could tell that a previous guest had a little girl seems how there was a Barbie shoe on the floor. The front desk lady was a complete bitch towards me. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Great place and lots of fun! Have had many fun times and laughs there. One of the most interesting places in Kalamazoo.
We arrived late in the evening and the front desk lady was very helpful in assigning our room. The room was clean and comfortable.
Staff were great... bed clean .
I was honestly very disappointed. I got to my room, the hot water took 20 minutes of me running it on the hottest to get hot. The toilet paper rod was bent down, you could wiggle it back and forth. Then of course we go out and get hit with a 8$ parking fee for 2 hours, then another fee.I liked that I could check out on the phone. They said they would charge for another parking fee. What I didn't know was that to stay at that hotel there is only one spot to park, in their parking deck. And that every day it's a 30$ fee.60$ for a 20 hour period. If you want to find a classy hotel for alone time, then don't chose this one. Just to stay cost my husband and I close to 300$. I stayed at a holiday Inn in Grand Rapids that I liked better for half the cost.
The common areas are not very fancy but the room was ok (clean warm and with all the utilities) .
Horrible service tried to keep my deposit and said I did something to the room. Room service was horrible.
Good nice hotel for location, room decor, size, and above average clean for low priced hotels with 3 stars or lower. Breakfast is also better than most those quick bite breakfast offers from lower end hotels. Service was also very good and helpful staff.
Lots of fun things to do and see here. There is a TGI Fridays across from this location. Also near Popeyes, Long John Silvers, Steak and Shake, Burger King etc. this is off I 131. Close to a Paneras. The mall is close by. Festivals and fun events each weekend. Gilmore Keyboard Festival 2016! Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, KVCC, Davenport nearby.
