The story of JR Jewels all began when Jorge Rodriguez was in his native Colombia. Having a family that is in the business he was constantly surrounded by the glimmering green stones. Always learning and wanting to do more with these wonderful stones he decided to leave Colombia for the United States he did so in the late 80's. After already having many connections he decided to plant roots in Jupiter, Florida. And that is where he opened his store. With a few family members and close friends his dream of having his own business happened. His exquisite stones come from the best mines in Colombia, Chivor, Muzo, Cosquez and La Pita. Colombia is known for having the worlds best emeralds. With many of the stones being exhibited in some of the most famous of museums worldwide. Now JR Colombian emeralds is the ONLY Wholesaler of Colombian Emeralds in Florida. His emeralds and jewelry are sold to jewelers, hobbyists, rock hounds and the emerald lover. With his vast knowledge and passion for the stones it's a story that spells success! We are wholesalers of natural Colombian Emeralds from the best mines in the world, Chivor, Muzo, La Pita and Cosquez. We are a family owned and run business that is based out of Jupiter, Florida. We have been in the emerald business for over 20 years and got our start in our native country of Colombia. I have been looking online for the perfect emerald ring in my budget for quite awhile now. I looked at dozens of Web sites. It was looking like I only had one option (James allen) and they only had about 5 emeralds that were ehh to choose from in my budget.. and then some how I found Jr jewels.. not only do they have plentiful options of emeralds they have tons of settings to choose from. They really make customizing easy and can fit in to any budget. To top it off they have amazing customer service! I have been texting Natalie asking questions and she is amazing. Amazingly family run business with the upmost in customer care!
