The staff is usually very rude which is why I requested Labcor. My physician told me that Labcor does not accept my insurance which is why I returned to Quest. This time, the staff was tolerable, however, my experience with the nurse who drew the blood is the reason for my review. She inserted the needle to draw the blood and I almost didn’t realize the needle was in. Upon completion, the nurse said “oh wait a minute, I forgot something...we have to do it again”. She again constricted my arm and then inserted what appeared to be a much thicker needle. It burned like hell the second it went in and continued burning to where I broke out in a full sweat! When she finished taking a half vile of blood (?), the pain was excruciating when she removed the needle! My arm swelled instantly and began to turn black and blue. By the time I returned to my car, my arm had swollen to the point where I returned back to the front desk of Quest. It has been wuite a while since the proceedure and my arm is still swollen. I’ve had routine blood taken twice a year for 32 years and have never experienced anything like this. I was polite as was she. I didn’t compliment her work initially which is why I believe she inserted a second, much thicker needle for a half vile of blood. I will not return to Quest. Email me for photos.
The management is not professional. Mike, who is the manager with the saliva testing had lab techs tell me he will return my call and didn't. I had basic questions as to why my test results were abnormally high compared to the previous two. I had seen my doctor and had other questions my doctor didn't have the answers to. Like for instance, my wearing Invisalign. I did "not" need him to go over my results. The problem is a lack of information given in the pamphlet that comes with the kit. It doesn't give enough information of the do's and don'ts like ZRT Lab does on their website. I am very upset that after spending $750 with this lab and being a customer since 2013, he did not have the courtesy to speak to me. Mike obviously does not value my business.
Hello..I have a couple of questions. My latest Access lab report of Sept. 2016, as compared to the report done in January 2016, differs in a few things. I do not see the GFR results in the January report. Also, I am concerned that in what Access states as normal in the A1c differ in both reports. January says
Terrible place the girl that took my blood was not friendly and rude, and I don't remember if she opened a new syringe until after I left and then i became worried that she used a dirty needle on me. I could only hope I don't get infected with something, and my arm is all black and blue.
the worst place in the whole planet!!!! I went there two times with my 14 months old doughter and they lost the blood results and the doctor's order. the stuff is unproffesional and very unpleasant; I will never go back there again.
Took off work early for the appt, drove like a bat out hell to be on time, & why? The woman on the counter had to many other duties besides keeping appts. I am use to quest being prompt. Next time I will find a different facility than the Quest in Jupiter.
Quest Diagnostics is the worst place ever to get blood work done. The fat lady at the front desk is rude as hell, she should be fired immediately. The place is so ghetto. These people need to learn the proper techniques of customer service. They should be ashamed of themselves. I will never go back there.
