I have been renting from them for nearly 2 years and have no issues. They are always fast and courteous. The girls are super friendly every time I've interacted with them. People need to realize they are not feeling directly with the homeowners. They have to contact them in order to get repairs done and sometimes the owners are overseas. So, response may not be immediate. I have been renting for several years and always take care of the home as though I own it. If you do that, you'll realize the owners and company will greatly appreciate you.
The business means well but simply is unable to be effective at property management due to inexperienced personnel with constant turnover. My wife I and rented for two years and moved into a home with a broken oven, holes in the wall, dead light bulbs and dirty carpet on the agreement that all of the issues would be fixed in two weeks. It took nearly four months for the oven to be fixed and the rest were never addressed (despite the extensive move-out checklist that requires you to clean air ducts, paint, professionally clean the carpet and patch all holes). Furthermore, each time we had any maintenance concerns it was like pulling teeth to have them fixed (these issues included no A/C in the summer, sewer fumes from a water heater that was installed incorrectly and no heat in the winter). Overall the staff was friendly but in no way shape or form is Conerstone's property management team professional nor can they be considered remotely versed in the Kansas Tenet Laws or their expressed responsibility outlined in the lease contract. If you decide to rent from them document EVERYTHING, keep records of all correspondence, take photos upon move in and know your rights as a tenet!
Don't care about their clients all they care about is money
Steven was always responsive and kept me at ease. He went beyond the call of duty as my agent.
I was very happy with Sheila from the Sheila M Burdett Agency. She took the time to listen to my needs.
I wouldn't change anything about working with the Sheila M Burdett Agency. Sheila and her staff were very good.
I would not change anything about my experience with the Sheila M Burdett Agency. She was knowledgeable and experienced.
I had a great experience with Sheila and her team and would work with them again. I had several offers on our property within days.
I've worked with the Sheila Burdett Agency a couple of times over the years and it's always been a very pleasant experience. They're good, friendly people and will work hard to ensure that you're satisfied.
The agent that met with seemed very young and inexperienced. When I asked her if there was a West or North gate to Ft Riley she didn't even know. Most of her answers to my questions were "Uhhhhhhhh" "I dont know" or " I dont think so". She was late for our first meeting, and then after promising to show me more properties on the following Monday wrote back to me on Sunday stating that she had to be in the office and could not show me the properties i most wanted tosee, then suggested I should wait till i could get back into the area in three months so she could maybe show me more properties then. I assured her itbwould not be nesssesary, that she seemed very busy and that I would find another realtor.
