Founded in 1891, the Joplin Family YMCA has a presence in Joplin, Mo. The organization operates school-age child care and activities in more than 10 schools. It provides private and group swimming classes and offers aquatic fitness and lifeguard courses. The Joplin Family YMCA operates a youth center that provides classes in computers, ping pong and crafts for children above the age of 6.
