Use to be a regular customer till the new store was built.Itwas said the new store was built to attract "a better class"" of buyers,so I guess the number of years I shopped there I was one of the lesser class. Maybe they ought to sell memberships like Sam's Club, that way they will have the cream of the crop for daily customers. Haven't been in the store since. Go to the DAV where they appreciate your business.

I was excited to visit this store until I walked in. Upon entering the entire store smelled horrible, racks were haphazardly shoved in the middle of aisles, there was minimum organization to the over priced clothing. Finally found the clothing item I needed but it was covered in huge stains and still priced at more than $3!! Toy section looked like a yard sale of broken and missing parts toys. The one employee we encountered was very rude.
Shopped there this week and an employee was extremely rude to me . When I was making small talk with her while purchasing merchandise she told me I didn't have to shop there I could go somewhere else!!!! Unfortunately this girl needs retraining before continuing to do customer service.
Art Feeds Joplin is a wonderful not for profit in the Joplin area! They have made such a difference in the Joplin community. My first semester as an Art Feeds volunteer, I witnessed drastic transformation in the lives of many students. I watched children gain confidence in themselves and the ideas they produced. Can't imagine Joplin without Art Feeds and the work they have done.
Thanks for everything u people r great.. God bless u..
Of all the thrift stores around in Joplin, I like our Salvation Army the most. They really help out a lot of people and most prices are kept fairly low for those who are financially challenged.
I can't say enough great things about Art Feeds! The staff and volunteers have the biggest hearts I've ever encountered. I've witnessed this organization make huge breakthroughs in the classroom boosting kids' confidence and allowing them to expand their creativity. Regarding finances, they follow a model I've never seen before in a charity: 100% of given money goes directly into their programs. They have an entire separate fund for their pay which comes from donations specifically intended for their salaries. ALL of that is available online as well. Talk to any kid who has Art Feeds class and they have nothing but smiles and positive words. I LOVE ART FEEDS!
A friend and I had volunteered with them about a year ago to help them get school supplies ready for school. She has an Art Feeds hoodie and says that they're really comfy so I decide to get one too. We're both Mediums. I order mine and it comes, and it fits kind of small. Then I see that the tag has been ripped off and I realize that they sent me a small and just ripped it off so I wouldn't know. And they don't give refunds. And this is a nonprofit too why are they selling merchandise in the first place isn't that illegal? I am quite upset that they would do this, especially since I had once volunteered for them too.
