Trail of Tears Lodge & Resort is 500+ acres private land located in the wilds of southernmost Illinois adjacent to thousands of acres of Shawnee National Forest. Our full service, smoke free facility consists of a modern & spacious 6,000 square foot Lodge complete with a restaurant where you can dine inside or outside on the stone court yard complete with awesome water features. Seven sleeping rooms with private, modern conveniences, an upstairs great room trophy lounge with big screen TV, and an outdoor swimming pool are available to registered lodging guests. Our public restaurant is open Friday, Saturday, & Sunday and provides our famous fish & chips, ribs, steaks and other scrumptious entrees'. Group reservations are welcome. The original early 1900 farmhouse cabin with kitchen, full bath, two bedrooms and a front room is available to families or groups.
