The lady that works there named Tia is very rude. She should act like a professional when she represents her business. I will not shop there and I will not refer anybody to their business. I see from other reviews taht I am not the only person that feels this way.
I took in about 150 articles of clothing over the summer. At first i thought wow this is a great place but i slowly realized what this busniness is about. The owner of the store is very rude, and in my opinion stuck up. She acts nice to you when you bring her clothes but when you try to come in and get YOUR money she will only pay you out on certain days (MWF) but currently I have gone there 3 times in the past 2 weeks and she keeps telling me that they have paid out the maximum amount for the week and for me to come back. Im sorry I thought this was MY MONEY, I dont have time to dance around when is a good time for her, she already made her money. Also I got a fair amount back for all the clothes I brought in but I saw some of my things on the racks and knew they were overpriced which is why I only bring things in I DO NOT SHOP there unless you honestly know you are getting a deal.
I just happen to be on this site looking up the phone number for My Girlfriend's Closet and was horrified to see what someone has written. This lovely little shop is the complete different that what they are saying. She keeps some very nice clothing to include lots of designer labels. It is very clean and well maintained and the service there has been nothing but wonderful for me. I have been consigning and buying from there for a couple of years now and love it.
As with any business, especially with a small business, I am sure it is hard to keep quality help with some turn over. I will not let one bad visit stop me from shopping there. Everyone should check it out.
I wasted my time, in the pouring down rain to see what this place was about. The woman sitting on her rear end, behind the counter didn't acknowledge my presence when I walked in the door, or the entire time I was in the store, as she was too busy with her personal phone call that everyone in the store could hear. She let that person go, to call someone else and discuss how that person was on their way to the liquor store to purchase Patron, their evening plans to have dinner with someone's parents, and to also pick up her boots. There were boxes of merchandise on the floor, that probably needed to be put out, but her phone calls were more important. These boxes made it impossible to get to other displayed merchandise. Also, the prices seemed awfully high. I won't be back.
