- Welcome, Artists! Regency Beauty Institute has put a fresh face on cosmetology. It's called the Studio Luma program and it's only available at Regency. It's beauty school designed by artists, for artists. Like you! Here, there aren't any big, boring textbooks. Or long lectures. Artists are too visual and full of ideas for that. At Regency, you learn with videos. Animations. Open-book tests. All on an iPad. You'll watch how to perform services, practice on your model and get one-on-one time with your teacher whenever you need it. You'll see inside the salon world and learn what it takes to succeed. You'll watch all sorts of salon situations - like how to get along with other stylists, manage indecisive guests, deal with two appointments at once and even calm agitated brides. Plus hair, skin, nail and makeup skills in action. It's not just students who love our Studio Luma program. Salons do, too. Heather Degele, regional manager of Kay Casperson Lifestyle Spas & Boutiques, says, "It allows students to graduate knowing that whatever happens they have the confidence and skill to succeed." And Sara McConnell, manager of Visible Changes salon, says, "I think the Regency Studio Luma students are better prepared for working in a real salon." Come join our welcoming community of artists! Live in the United States? Regency Beauty Institute cosmetology schools are conveniently located across the country. There could be one near you! Our full-time cosmetology program is designed to be completed in 12 months. Some campuses offer part-time programs.

I been coming to this place for about 2yrs but today 11/17/12, my daughter n me we where getting a hair cut n I have a 17month baby she was in her stroller n they said they have a problem with me getting a hair cut because they can't cut my hair cuz I have my baby in a stroller how stupid can that be if I done these two times already n they haven't said anything about it. I don't have no where to leave my baby to get a haircut. So I feel that's discrimination. Theirs a lot of moms like me that don't have support n they have to have their kids with them all the time but that doesn't mean the moms can take them some to get pamper up. That was so rude of them to do that. So they don't need a goor rate the need a bad rate! So I walk out of us getting a haircut. My daughter was sad she couldn't get a haircut she really was excited for her haircut..
