My shopping experience was at the Rite Aid at 300 Market St not Bedford St! I have never been to that store. I retired from Rite Aid after 25 years and still get my Rxs there because I know they do things right! Adam the manager is great. He got my Rxs ready very quickly and the cashier was very friendly and helpful. I still love the store and will continue to shop there!
Sunday December 4, 2016 One of the most uncaring and nasty pharmacist with no regard for me the customer. Myself a 65 year old senior citizen living 25 or 30 miles away. After dropping of my prescription I was told I would have to wait an hour for it to be ready. After explaining that I lived this far away and seeing no one else in the store waiting and in fact only 4 or 5 cars in the parking lot. I was told again it could not be ready for at least an hour. I do not expect to go ahead of someone else that is in the store waiting, but if they are not in the store waiting only common courtesy would be expected. But not by this self important person who has no regard of a senior citizen. If this is CVS's policy then I will go elsewhere in the future.
I was turned away because I had an "out of city" prescription. Chambersburg, PA. Out of city. They looked at it like it was handwritten and from the Philippines. Yep, I'm forging prescriptions from Chambersburg. I tried to explain that my doctor is in Chambersburg. I tried to explain that my children live with their mother there and I go there any chance I get. I explained that I just moved to town. Nope. Not good enough. "Out of city." 90 minutes away. That's the town I pick to fool the idiot pharmacy tech about my massive prescription forging ring. Moron.So now, these pharmacological geniuses have lost thousands of dollars of business from me. Quite the business model.
Lovely staff... Friendly and very helpful! I go there and will continue to go there. Always a nice experience.
Billing is a real problem. Got an e-mail notice on 12/5/14 about a bill due on 1/4/15 for services rendered in 2013. This is the first time we received a bill for these services. One of the staff told us that it takes a long time for insurances to pay their share and that they cannot bill us until they have heard from the insurance company. Apparently someone in billing turned us over to a collection agency! Got the e-mail notice of the bill on 12/5/14 and got the mailed bill on maybe 12/6/14 or 12/8/14 and by 12/12/14 we have received two calls from a collection agency! All of this for a bill that is not due (per their website) until 1/4/15. Go somewhere else if you value your credit rating!!
