Explanation

I have read the other reviews to this point, and understand the frustration, as I also ordered something from Dave Zeigler that I never received.



In his defense, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and has since passed on.



I don't know if the tumor caused problems with his memory or not, but I'm sure it was possible.



The store is now owned, to my knowledge, by John Bradley, who was Ziggy's partner.



I don't know if the ordering has improved, but I do know that if you need hockey equipment in a pinch, Ziggy's probably has it in stock.

I have had numerous friends state that they have returned sticks under warranty to ziggys never to see them again. No follow up from ziggys. Very disorganized!!! Beware!!!

Ziggy's is a joke--Extremely disappointed

Goalie equipment was originally ordered in December of 2008, it is now September of 2009 and no gear has been received. David "Ziggy" Zeigler not only avoids phone calls and confrontation at all costs, but also lies about anything and everything to get you to shut up with hopes that you will forget about the gear ordered. Has said part of the gear is right next to him and he will send it out next day, wait a week, and nothing has arrived. Called him back inquiring about gear, he says it's caught up at the Canadian border, wait another few days. No word on gear. Called him back again, said he hasn't sent it yet (even though he previously said he already had), but that he will send it out that day, and it will arrive in about a week--"have patience" ... no gear comes yet again, call him back, he avoids calls, has employees say he is out of the office. Have been told 4 times that the gear has been shipped, but Ziggy will not give a tracking or confirmation number when asked. Finally, called the office again inquiring about the gear and tracking number, his assistant/employee said he will call back with the number. An hour passes, call back again, the guy answers and says he has a tracking number. Checked the FedEx package tracking site, it says the package has been "initiated", called FedEx to see what exactly that means ... they say nothing has been sent out, they are still waiting for Ziggy to call to have the "package"--imaginary at this point--picked up, but a label has been made. So, he had a label made and that initiates a tracking number to give to a customer to basically pacify them until they find out that nothing is being sent by doing a little research. It is amazing someone like David Zeigler can run a business. Close to a year after ordering, still no gear has been received. My advice is to not get involved with Ziggy or his business, you will receive nothing but disappointment.
