Drove 90 minutes to buy a used car from Hollern. Paid what I felt was a very fair price for a car that is in very good condition. It was worth the trip and I would buy a car from them again with no hesitation.
Brought my 93 LeBaron there do to a problem with the alarm. When they called, I came to pick it up. Said the problem was a wire connection. Paid $155. Opened the drivers door the alarm went off. Waited in the waiting room. Was told it was fixed another wire connection. Opened the drivers door, the alarm went off again. I asked to just disable the alarm. Was told that was not possible. Back to the waiting room. Once again was told it fixed, same results. Was told it needs an Alarm Module but none can be found. So I was told to avoid locking the doors. Went home searched on the internet. Found that if the Alarm Module is disconnected when the engine is running, then the alarm is disabled. I did that. Went back to Laurel Chrysler. I requested a $100 refund since they did not fix it, I did. Frank the GM refused and refunded $88.15. He said they had to pay the Tech for time spent diagnosing. I replied that that he did not correctly diagnosis the problem of fix the problem. Frank said that does not matter, he still has to pay the guy.
Positively stress free way to buy a new vehicle! Our new Terrain Denali is a great drive. This was our first experience with Thomas and most certainly, not the last. Special Thanks to Tom Kirby, our salesman.

Great place to buy a car. I recently bought my second car from this business. After purchasing the first car eight years ago I found their repair service to be excellent. They did not try to force me into repairs that were not necessary and their prices were reasonable. When I was ready for another car I was hoping to find one at this business because I trust them. I was able to find a car that I am very happy with. The entire staff have been helpful and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who values good service from honest people.
First I'd give them zero stars if possible.... I write this on behalf of my disabled parents.Service is second to none, literally. Service at Suppes Ford is as close to non-existent as it gets. I'm writing this on behalf of my parents, and writing it so that other people don't get taken advantage of by the most dishonest dealership in Cambria County.Granted they got teamwork, they stick to their lies like glue, refuse to see any evidence of wrong-doing, even after making my parents take a special trip to the dealership where they were promised the vehicle would be detailed to remedy the grease on the seats placed there by the mechanics. They got no detailing, the management refused to examine the Explorer first-hand, and called my parents liars.Worst part, my parents are disabled, and wasted all that gas money just to be called liars, when they had photos, and evidence that any sensible person would have recognized as sincere and honest.For all intents and purposes this dealership is incompetent in its entirety, from the management the whole way down to the mechanics. My parents purchased an Explorer at Suppes, and each service trip has ended with more grease deep in the leather seats, and discolored plastic components due to cleaning with excessively strong chemicals.Thus changing my mind of purchasing a fresh 2013 Explorer Sport from their dealership. Johnstown is my town, I believe in supporting where one lives, but this place is nothing but a den of deception. If you have any issues with your vehicle purchased there, be sure to get all the conversations recorded, as they'll deny the words that came from their mouths mere minutes prior.Buyer beware, and get yourself a good Ford elsewhere, anywhere else but Suppes... unless you enjoy your new vehicle's flawless leather interior caked with grease due to mechanics too lazy to put protective materials down until after the job is done. Suppes lacks honesty, integrity, customer loyalty, and any semblance of due diligence in the least.
Avoid this place at all costs. I've purchased many used cars, and the Subaru I bought from Hollern was the most expensive as well as the most problematic.Hollern blamed us for the bad clutch that went within a year, asked if we had it improperly towed. Offered to fix it for much more than other mechanics. No thanks.Hollern was happy to charge us for a tune-up when the car started to stutter and lost all gas mileage, and told us the spark plugs were the worst they has ever seen -- again, less than a year of ownership. They said out o-rings were bad, and that oil was leaking into the cylinders. And yes, THEY CHARGED US FOR A TUNE-UP AND NEVER FIXED THE O-RINGS!Their response to this absurdity: "We don't think the o-rings will cause you any problems." I'm serious, and my wife thought I was going to burst a blood vessel I was so red.
I took my Jeep with 6,000 miles on it to Laurel to have it serviced, as I just moved back to the area and needed a dealer. They offered pick up and drop off services, so I took advatage of it, which I loved. When the gentleman brought back my Jeep he left a window open, that wasnt open when he took it, and didnt tell me, well it poured down rain that day and of course the car got soaked. They took care of it and cleaned it out in a timely fashion, but when i got the Jeep returned, I found a broken speaker in the back seat. I do not use the back seat, as I have no children, so I know that it wasnt broken. When I called them, the manager told me he would have to order the speaker grate to fix it. Well 2 weeks went by and I didnt hear from him, so I called again, and then he told me the part was on backorder and he hadnt received it yet, but didnt feel it was important to call and tell me this.
My wife bought a vehicle here and when she needed service,was taken advantage of,overcharged and verbally abused by the owner when tried to talk to him.Would never buy a vehicle here again!
