RainSoft

We spent $8K++ on this system worked fine intially we moved from the city to the country (well), Rainsoft RI told us we needed to buy an addtional tank for $2K due to well water. When we bought the system intially the saleman said if we move it will work in any house & any water system. So we bought the tank reluctantly, that was almost 6yrs ago and they still can't get it to work right. Never mind the customer service has been horrible from day 1, owner is an arrogant ego maniac. He blames us (mind you we made all the adjustments requested by rainsoft at an addtional expense, to our well etc). Still doesn't work right (we have a maintence agreement yearly for 6 yrs) it intially covered anything that needed to be done throughout the year, except all of a sudden this year it only covers 1 service visit a year...of which they don't supply any paper work that states what is suppose to be covered...Don't buy from this company as you will be stuck with over priced equipment and a company that knows its the only game in town & wants to take advantage of that fact...buy from Home Depot or anyone else.
