So I ordered it even though one that was on it was new with1k Miles on sprockets and chain. I went to pick it and walked to the back and Kevin said he could do it right away. He installed the new master link and less than 100 miles later it broke. When it broke it busted alot of my motorcycle including block, sprockets, chain guard, mud guard. Spool holder on swing arm and also the passenger peg on the left side. When confronted with what had happened they said they was nothing they could do. First it was it was off the books which I never took part in such non sense. Who goes to a dealer wanting under the table work 0. Then I was told it was cause of the 520 conversion which you can get from factory to. I had 100 percent trust in the work they provided before but now they have destroyed my bike with out acknowledging the workmanship they provided me. Sound very petty but I could have died from this cause the oil covered my tire and brakes in seconds. All I wanted was for them to fix what they broke but they see no flaws which is absurd. Shop smart go somewhere that will leave you safe riding and back the workmanship you get on your bike.
I have been a long time customer, and am pleased to see that the new owners are operating the business the same way Kenny did. I have taken my bike in twice lately and have found no change in the business, the customer service, or the prices. I found them to be just as caring and friendly as Kenny and Robin always were. I am so glad Kenny cared enough about his business, that he found people like him to take over and continue on. I am so thankful to be able to continue to take my bikes there. Ken's will always be the only place I want to work on my bikes. Ken's Cycle Center is still the best place, plus they have the best mechanics.
Just got my bike back from service. Had my bike serviced there a few times now. This last time, they fixed up the areas I messed up when I fell on it. Put on the new parts. It looked great and runs great. Very satisfied. Like their mechanic -- he's quite the character. Good personality, friendly, approachable. Hopefully I won't need to take my bike in again, but if so, I'll come here again.
ask them to install a gear indicator on my cbr 1000 they told me 4 hours labor would cost me 225 dollars and I would have to leave my bike for a couple days. Brought the bike home installed it myself took me 1 hour and I have never ever worked on a motorcycle of any kind before.i have been dealing with Kenny britt for 30 years he was the man to take your motorcycle to when you needed repairs but not anymore you are better off going to jims motorcycle sale in jc the price is about the same and you will get your bike back a lot faster.
After a decade of not doing business here, I tried again. They failed to impress again. Ten years ago we had issues with a brand new dirt bike that would not start Christmas morning. They wanted to charge us for repair. This time we tried to order parts. The parts department was called several days in a row and simply could find the time to see if they had what we needed. After days of waiting, we just ordered our stuff on line instead. That's our plan from now on.
has everything thing you need for moto sports, from equipment to gear. also all types of motorcycles both new and used
everything you need to ride, nice people. bought my bike there in 30 minutes they have all kinds of stuff side by sides quads dirt bikes and sport bikes as well as cruisers
Went to Jim's prepared to purchase a used bike, we had looked up the book value which was 3750.00 excellant condition, the guy at Jim's said they wanted 4900.00 but would honor the 4200.00 price he had given the prior day. When we advised that the book value was 3750.00 he said ok and basically you can leave. That was it!! I guess shop at Jim's if you are someone who pays more than a product is worth!! He not only lost the sale of the bike but also all the gear we were prepared to purchase. We will never go there again. Guy was a real jerk!!!
