Walgreens is a national company i had a fairly positive view of until My friend Amanda M. had a horrific experience here recently where Shopping with a disability is apparently punished! While struggling to get to the counter to pay with her coupon for leggings and nasal spray, she was accosted and accused by store of SHOPLIFTING! IN THE STORE! The police were called. The outrage, embarrassment, humiliation, distress caused by suchunfounded and entirely without merit accusations is appalling. I hope the district manager, Greg McCollum, remedies this distressing situation immediately with Amanda, for her sake and the humanity & dignity of all of our community! Sincerely...Cindy A
I just had someone at this Walgreens call the cops on me and accuse me of trying to shoplift. I had on like five braces, and very clearly had stuff in a big bag yet you could see all of it cause I had the bag splayed open. And I shop at Walgreens and other places like that ALL THE TIME. I explained to the 4 policemen, 2 rude sales clerks, and all the Walgreens shoppers standing around gawking that I had a disability and couldn't push a cart or carry a basket, that I had a hurt knee, wrist, and hand.I had my wallet out, and a coupon in hand. I was literally walking up to the cash register. I had been in the store for more than 40 minutes. I talked to multiple sales clerks in that time. The officer still accused me of concealing items. I seriously thought he was going to arrest me. I voluntarily emptied my bag for them to see: 3 more braces, water bottle, Aldi's ad, and that's it. I walked off, put the 4 items back where they went, and left the store. The policeman didn't try to stop me. Not did he expressed any sympathy. It was so, so humiliating. I sat in my car and cried for like 30 minutes. It's not like I chose this.Who calls the cops on a clearly disabled person the week before Thanksgiving over $5 leggings and nasal spray.
Slow slow slow. I think they might be slow in the head also. You ask them any kind of question and you get that deer in the headlights look from them.
All the staff are really great. Unlike big pharmacy, they actually give u 1on1 attention. They patiently explain this to u if u don't understand. If they are out of the medicine that u need, they will either cask around to surrounding pharmacy our they will have shipped the next morning so u can get it asap. You can't ask for better pharmacist to provide the correct, accurate, friendly, or speedy? services
I would NEVER go back to that Pharmacy because the workers there are so rude. I just went to get a refill on a medication and they were so hateful to me. I would not advise anyone to go there.
If Blankenship was the last pharmacy on this earth I wouldn't go to them the are not good to custmore that goes in there n some of the Medican the fill if your not someone the like the will break it in half or short u of them n some of the employee can get away with more stuff like the are always right
love brian and the staff the always know you by name and will always offer you encouragement my day is always brightened when i know i have to go pick up a script thank you
Brian, Lauren and the whole staff know you by name; you're not just another number. They are friendly, quick to get prescriptions filled and always ready to offer the best products for my needs at the best price possible. They are a REAL pharmacy. They don't offer garden hose, groceries, etc., just the best in health and nutrition products. They are always willing to talk to you about your prescriptions and they even talk to you about your family. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for affordable, quality service that is done quickly and efficiently.
