1960 Family Practice Cypress

Last Friday afternoon my husband was prescribed a medicine he should take right away. When he went to the pharmacy to pick it up it the office hadnt called it in. The office closed and he was only able to leave a message on voicemail. He had to spend the weekend without the medicine or anyway to address the problem. This isnt the first time they forgot to call it in. There is no after hour assistance available. If you call the after hour line they just save the message for Monday morning. I tried first thing Monday morning to reach someone. I called from 8:00 to 8:45 and was never able to reach anyone but the operator and the Manager of the Collections Dept. I waited till Noon still no call. Then I drove to the 2920 location where the Dr works on Mondays. I was told they called the RX into the wrong pharmacy. We have been using the same pharmacy for 8 years. When I asked about no return call they told me they have 24 hours to return a call. I guess it doesnt matter what the problem is they will wait their 24 hours. They are friendly but seriously need better management and an after hours reponder.
